Description of the Amsterdam vacation apartment rental

Self-contained studio apartment in 19th century townhouse with its own private entrance from the street. Cosy place, 300 square feet, with a double bed (and a collapsible single bed), toilet/shower, kitchenette.

The apartment is fully equipped, complete with all sheets, duvet, towels etc. The kitchenette is private and perfect for making simple dinners. The toilet and shower is private, ajoined to the studio. The studio has a direct telephone, stereo system, cable TV (with 35channels, many of which are in English), VHS, DVD player, with a library of films. Perfect base for 2 (or 3) persons to explore Amsterdam.

The apartment also has complimentary high-speed (1000Kbyte/sec broadband internet connection.

The apartment is in a perfect location, right in the heart of Amsterdam, in the artistic Jordaan district, which is littered with cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, and specialty shops. It is sort of like a laid-back "Greenwich Village" of Amsterdam. The apartment is situated on a side street, half a block from the canals, so it is very quiet at night and mornings. Amsterdam Central Station is only 10 minute walk away. The Anne Frank House, NoorderKerk, Westerkerk, Westerpark are all minutes walk away.
