Description of the Amsterdam vacation apartment rental

This houseboat is a steel schip of 36 meters long. The ship has recently been renovated and decorated and feels very luxurious. All the rooms are spaceous and there is daylight in abundancy. The indoor surface is 100m2.

There is one large bathroom with bath-tub and a second bathroom with shower. On both ends of the ship there are terraces on the deck overlooking the water.
It has central heating, hot and cold running water, electricity and a fully equiped kitchen.

We have a non smoking policy, but you can smoke on deck.

Peaceful neighbourhood, only 10 minutes walking to the free ferry which runs 24 hours a day and that takes you to Amsterdam Central Station in 5 minutes. There you can start exploring Amsterdam. Total distance from the houseboat to Amsterdam Dam square is 2,5 km.

• Required Stay: weekbookings have precedence to shorter periods
   
• Lodging Tax: included
   
• Deposits: The downpayment of 25% of the total sum plus 150 euro deposit can be paid through 'Paypal'. If you prefer to pay by bank, we will provide you with the account number and banking codes required. The balance is to be settled in cash upon arrival. (of course you can also settle by bank prior to arrival) The deposit of 150 euro will be refunded within a week after departure.(if left in good order)
   
• Other Fees: more then 2 persons: We charge an extra 25 euro/ night for every extra guest, maximum number of people is 4. Children below 12 years old are free of charge. The endcleaning is included in the price, but we do ask you to leave the houseboat in an orderly manner. If you leave a mess we charge 25 euro per hour for the endcleaning and take this out of your deposit.

My mother and I spent 3 weeks in the summer on the Vlaardingen. It was absolutely fantastic! We we're well treated by our hosts and had a remarkable time in Amsterdam. The pictures shown are exactly what you'd expect. It is spacious and warm. We hope to return sometime soon with the rest of our family. I look forward to another vacation in Amsterdam and on the Vlaardingen.
