Description of the Amsterdam vacation apartment rental

Clean and modern apartment off of Utrechtsestr near Fredericksplein in central Amsterdam (1017 WJ)

The two floor flat is on the top of a four story building. A living room, toilet, dining room and kitchen are on the bottom floor. Two rooms, a large roof patio and a full toilet/shower/bath are on the top floor.

The 100+ square meter apartment is newly renovated, very clean, spacious and modern. It is fully furnished with all the things you need to be comfortable. Your rent includes wireless internet, cable TV and all utilities.

The house has room for seven - 2 in queen bed, one in fold out bed, two on inflatable twin bed, and two on two couches.

Area Description

In an amazing neighborhood, close to the center and next to some very lively bars/shops/restaurants.

Utrechtsestr is the 2nd "best" street in Amsterdam surrounded by Michelin star restaurants and fun pubs. The Amstel river and the Canals are a stones throw away.

The roof patio... is awesome! Lay out in the Sun with complete privacy!

Echoing the other reviews, this is a very special apartment and a perfect landing spot in which to explore the wonders of Amsterdam. Spacious, spotless and elegantly appointed, there is also an outdoor patio on the second floor to enjoy morning tea. We all concurred that the very best restaurant ever- both conceptually and in offering incredible wine and food- is just a few houses away. Great neighborhood filled with lovely shopping and pubs and a warm, accomodating host/landlord- can you tell that we had a fantastic time?! One caveat- the unusual narrow winding stairs from the street up to the flat would probably not be suitable for anyone elderly or unsteady on their feet. Otherwise, a wonderful find and a memorable trip!

THE APARTMENT Spacious, clean with modern fittings throughout, it's every bit as nice as the pictures suggest, in fact the roof terrace is larger than is apparent. Four of us spent 3 nights and were perfectly comfortable. THE AREA Located on a quiet street (if you disregard the bars at the end that you cannot hear from inside) in a decent part of town, you are sufficiently removed from the hubbub of the tourist areas while still being within easy reach on foot. Highly recommended.
