Description of the Amsterdam vacation apartment rental
Authentic, renovated apartment (built in 1874), with charming old details, in a child friendly neighbourhood right in the Centre of Amsterdam, across the street from Artis, Amsterdam's famous Zoo. The apartment has a spacious living room including a new kitchen, and two bedrooms (90m2). It is furnitured and decorated in a tasteful combination of 'traditional' and 'modern'. The apartment is located in the green "Plantage area" of Amsterdam Centre and is - apart from the Zoo - close to a large number of other major attractions, such as the Resistence Museum (next door), Hermitage Museum, Opera, Portuguese Synagoge, Jewish Historical Museum, Hortus Botanicus (one of the oldest gardens in the world), Nemo (high tech for children), spectaculairly renovated National Maritime Museum, Tropen Museum. It is also close to several parks.

Our Neighborhood
Our apartment is a located the Plantage Area. This unique area is typified by its luscious greenery, space and water. Besides natural history, the area is a mine of information for science and technology and the origins of this part of the city.
The plantage area is a beautiful green area in the old centre of Amsterdam, originally designed in the 17th century as a garden called 'Plantage'. It is surrounded by many sights, bars and restaurants with good transport links. Artis Zoo is just 100 metres from the hotel, and the Flea Market and Opera House are both 400 metres away. The Maritime Museum and Van Gogh Museum are two kilometres away
