You will find everything is just "around the corner", within walking distance. Location wise, this is one of the best areas in Amsterdam.
The rooms, some with access to a little patio/garden, are decorated in tropical style with cable TV, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities and radio-alarm clock with i-dock station. All rooms have private bathrooms, either external or ensuite.

Barangay B & B is in a great location, near everything and 2 blocks from the best canal viewing location in Amsterdam. The owners were friendly and lots of fun. They provided great tourist info and even purchased tickets for us. There's a wonderfully stocked kitchen for breakfast and late night snacks. Our room was on the upper floor in this canal house and exuded so much charm.

Wimmo, Godwin and Ron each provided us with a warm welcome and ensured that we were settled in comfortably (with a nice wine!) as they described the tourist attractions. The instructions for how to find the place were clear, as were their emails relating to booking confirmation. The B&B is in a fantastic location, only 5 min walk from Centraal Station and therefore very close to the old town and tourist precinct. The location is relatively quiet given that it's right in the heart of the city. The B&B and associated apartment (where we stayed) were immaculate and very nicely decorated. Nothing was too much bother and our stay was very enjoyable. We'll be staying there on our next visit and would thoroughly recommend it to others.
