The house is nestled safely within a neighborhood of single family homes. At the very center of the neighborhood is San Martin Park. If you travel down Dunrobin to the the park and make a right onto Candlewood; about 15 minutes down (by way of walking) you'll find yourself at one of Lakewoods main streets with restaurants, cafe's, the Lakewood shopping center, and more.
On the opposite side of the street, a little farther down, is Lakewood City Hall, Lakewood City Library and our Sheriff station (:>).

When Lakewood was originally build, it was actually specifically designed for stay at homes moms with strollers (:>) assuming that dad had the only car with him at work (:>).

This place was really cute and really warm. Had a great experience. We came over from NZ and we had 7 people staying at the house. It was a little cramped at one stage, but having your own kitchen/bathroom/washing machine etc is so much better - a home away from home. The owners are lovely and really friendly and helped us out on our trip. It is really close to the freeways that get you anywhere and everywhere you want to go. The neighbours were also very nice and you have a park just down the road if you want to go for a run or just relax in the sun. The shopping centre is about a 10 minute walk and there are a lot of options. Had a great experience and would definetely choose to stay in a house again rather than a hotel or hostel. Thanks heaps for the experience
