Description of the Anaheim vacation home rental

Your home-away-from-home has almost 2,000 square feet of upgraded living space on a private quarter acre lot with heated pool and spa, shaded patio with teak furniture and picnic table and room for the kids to play,lots of pool toys and kids vests and life jackets. Situated on a quiet, safe, tree lined and very family oriented cul-de-sac street that ends at Stoddard Park, you can relax and enjoy your vacation in this pride of ownership neighborhood.

The large dining room table can seat 12 or more, and looks out over the yard and pool. The livingroom has a recliner, a couch, 2 loveseats, and a futon that opens to a full size bed. Each room has cable tv, dvd/video player, stereo,and wireless internet access.(many Disney videos, CD's,cassettes and Nintendo 64.) The brick fireplace can be viewed by both rooms. These areas have oak hardwood flooring with area rugs.

There are 4 carpeted bedrooms with ceiling fans and televisions,and alarm clocks, the master with bath has a queen size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a double and single bed, the third has a bunkbed and a posterpedic full bed, and the fourth has a bunk bed and another single .There is a crib and playpen available as well as 2 highchairs, stroller, a walker and many,many toys and fun things to keep your kids busy and to take care of your childcare needs. (even a baby monitor, so you can be in the yard while your baby naps.)

Past tenants have highly praised how "kid friendly" this home is. One person said her kids were having so much fun they didn't want to go to Disneyland! I have 4 kids myself and I know if they have things to do and can keep themselves busy, I get to have a vacation too!

The kitchen is completely furnished with a skylight and dinette set. Both bathrooms have blow dryers and curling irons and hot rollers. There is even a foot spa!Read the comments guests have left about the house!
There is a shopping center within walking distance that has a Food4Less grocery store, a Sav-on pharmacy, wonderful buffet called Hometown Buffet,great 98 cent store that has alot of small Disney things, pencil cases, pens and pencils, stickers, books, it changes all the time, take a look!) Bank of America, Big Lot store, KMart, Nickel, nickel (kids arcade), new Walgreens across from center.

There are four fast food places (Arby's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut), Hometown Buffett, Mexican and Italian restaurants, movie theatres close by, Blockbuster (movie rentals).
Disney Ice Skating rink (official training facility of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim), Universal Studios, Getty Museum, Downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Long Beach Pike Including the Aquarium of the Pacific, Los Angeles Dodges Stadium, Arrowhead Pond, Knott's Berry Farm, Anaheim Convention Center, Big Bear lake resort area, Catalina Island, San Diego, Balboa Island.

The Crystal Cathedral is not to be missed (The Hour of Power is filmed there weekly!), there are beaches close by and if you come in the right season, you can ski in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon! (The mountains are close, too) California is great! The house is centrally located close to all the freeways, and the house has many maps, Thomas Guides and information. We live locally and would be available to give you directions or suggestions, or whatever you need! It will be a vacation you'll never forget!

The neighborhood is tucked away off the busy street, yet close and convenient to everything! It is located in an older, family neighborhood just like the old tv show of Ozzie and Harriet! Everyone is friendly and there isn't much traffic because the street dead ends at a park. It is lined with trees and is so very quiet. If you go right out of the neighborhood, there is a grocery store, Kmart, Big Lots, pharmacy, fast food places and a great place called HOmetown Buffet. Bus stop is close as is a hotel that offers the ART trolley. Disneyland is less than 2 minutes away by car and 25 minutes away if you walk. Freeways are less than 5 minutes away and in California, if you can get to a freeway...you are halfway to where ever you are going!!

The garage is a kids playroom! Air hockey table, pool table, lots of toys, dress up clothes, board games, kids books, barbies, tv with videos, kitchen, dolls, tons of things for the kids to do. They will have such fun, you'll have to drag them out to go to Disneyland! I have a Disney hat box, so when you take photos, you can each wear a hat that has a Disney theme.
