Sea Wolf Inn
August 9, 2014
The host was very accommodating and friendly. She provided advice on where to go and what to do. She didn't freak at my large dogs, but did warn me of possible damage fees if they destroyed or damaged anything, which I thought was fair. She was nice about it, not threatening or unfriendly, but firm. This is her house after all and she keeps it nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean and cozy. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would stay her again in a heartbeat!

From the beginning to the end, my wife and I were very happy with our decision to stay here! Lisa was very helpful while planning and booking our 10 day honeymoon to Alaska. Even though we only stayed here for a total of three nights, Lisa gave us great advice on what to do in the other stops that we made. Then, the Sea Wolf Inn itself is very cute and homey! All the little touches made this one of our favorite places that we've stayed. Lisa was very welcoming on our first night there and gave some good advice on local places to visit for dinner and good local beer. Throughout our other nights at the end of the trip Lisa was just as helpful, and even drove us back to the airport (we returned our rental once we were back in Anchorage for the last two nights)!

This is now our favorite place to stay in Anchorage. Lisa has thoughtfully created a homey space that has anything you need. It's spacious and quiet and the comfy bed provided a great night sleep. The bath and kitchen are well stocked, including a fridge with cold drinks. We plan to keep coming back. Thank you, Lisa!!

We went to Anchorage for a weekend and were happy to find the Sea Wolf Inn. At first, I thought I could get a better deal with another vacation rental, but soon realized that they charge a $125 cleaning fee which Sea Wolf Inn does not. Our host was thoughtful and sweet and we enjoyed our stay very much. The place was clean with lots of useful little touches - maps, take out menus, extra towels, kitchen tools, fresh coffee creamer and cable. The only reasons why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is that is didn't have wi-fi and was a little dark. The inn is a basement apartment, which I wasn't expecting, but we would come back for the location, host, price and cleanliness of this sweet place.
Thanks for staying Joanne. Sorry you did not see the Wi Fi info on the fridge. Thank you for pointing that out. I will make that info more accessible right away. During the summer folks really like to snuggle in "The Den' away from The midnight Sun. You folks are welcome back anytime, and I'll be sure to put some brighter touches in the apartment.

Fun, eclectic, and cozy!

My grandson and I were able to enjoy a few days of his Spring Break in Lisa's little home-away-from-home apartment. The longer we were there, the more we experienced the thoughtful touches she added to make us really comfortable. I really enjoyed seeing new and different bits of Alaskana and vintage Americana throughout the apartment as our stay went on. The bed was really comfortable and the location very quiet, yet super centrally-located to main arterials so we could get quickly to wherever we wanted to go.

Home away from home

Our stay was excellent. Our host was wonderful. Our flight arrived in Anchorage around midnight. She asked what we liked for breakfast, and had the items there waiting for us. No need to shop early the next morning. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen items and lines. She was friendly, yet not infringing on our privacy. We could not have asked for a better place to stay! We highly reccomend this property to anyone.
Wonderful, Easy Stay!

We were very comfortable staying at the Sea Wolf Inn. The atmosphere was not sterile or generic like a hotel room, but warm and inviting. The owner is hospitable and cheery, with thoughtfulness regarding your stay. I recommend staying here because it is affordable but also high quality.

We stayed at the Sea Wolf Inn for one week while visiting Anchorage. The location is very convenient for walking into the city, visiting the museum, walking/biking the coastal trail, etc. Lisa made us feel very welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay!
Great hostess & location!

The Sea Wolf Inn met our needs of a 2 week stay- Lisa was very helpful and we were able to use the laundry and kitchen facilities. We had friends also staying in Anchorage with their son, so we were able to use the outdoor grill and picnic table, and share a meal with Lisa! Great location, close to downtown to walk and get your bearings, if new to Anchorage. We had a great time and were comfy, thanks to all that Lisa provided. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in Anchorage! Paul & Charlotte

The "INN"CREDIBLE SEAWOLF

So quiet, cozy, calm, & close to everything one could possibly see and do. I like to travel and Lisa is the best host by far. You will not need a car; Lisa has 2 bikes available. One can get around and see most of the area just by walking and taking a frequent bus. Her home is just a five minute walk away from the bus stop and a 15 to 25 minute walk away from downtown. The Seawolf is a DREAM come TRUE. Enjoy the rest of 2010 and have fun!

lisa is a fine host. Downstairs apt is nothing fancy but it is much nicer than anything in anchorage for an equivalent price. Felt all was clean. Internet access. Thanks Lisa!
Charming Central Location, Lovely Accommodations

The apartment is well stocked with conveniences, very clean and comfortable. It is so close to downtown that I walked most of the time. The owner has a vast wealth of knowledge about Anchorage and surrounding cities. She was a great hostess! Overall, my trip of a lifetime was due in part to my stay here!
Just What We Needed
October 22, 2009
We recently relocated to Anchorage and began our search for a home. We first stayed at a chain hotel during the beginning of our search and then moved into Sea Wolf for the last few days. It was such a needed change. Sea Wolf felt like a home away from home and was a million times more accommodating than the hotel chain. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Wolf Inn and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, affordable stay in the Anchorage area.
