Description of the Anchorage vacation b&b rental

Glacier View Drive B&B is located just 15 miles from downtown Anchorage in beautiful Eagle River. Our Suite is completely private located on the third floor with a private bath, Kitchenette area and sitting area and private entrance.

Continental Breakfast is delivered right to your suite and includes homemade jams from our garden, apple butter from our apple trees and homemade muffins, as well as hot/cold cereals, fruits in season, and toast. A stocked mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, teapot, microwave, and toaster are in the Kitchenette for your convenience.

Relax in your own sitting area, breakfast in your own dining area and enjoy spectacular views from your own private deck overlooking Eagle River Valley and the Glaciers.

Where else can you experience all that Alaska has to offer than in a warm and friendly B&B nestled into the side of a mountain.

You have the best of both worlds at Glacier View Drive B&B, Explore all that Eagle River has to offer like, Eagle River's Nature Center just 5 miles away, where you can hike, raft or canoe. Or one of our many restaurants in town from lighter fair to elegant meals. And their many shops with local Art, glass work and of course Souvenirs. You are 15 minutes from Anchorage and all it has to offer, you are within reach of day trips to Eklutna Lake, Hatcher Pass, Musk Ox and Reindeer Farm, Portage Glacier/Whittier, or even a flight seeing Tour from Talkeetna. And after your adventurous day is done, you can return to our B&B to unwind and enjoy the most unforgettable views in Alaska.

• Deposits: A deposit of one night's stay is required to reserve the suite. For reservations of 4 or more nights, one-half of the total amount is required for deposit. We accept Personal Checks for Deposits ONLY.
   
• Other Fees: Rates per night are for a maximum of 2 people, additional guest is $15 per night. We do not accept credit cards at this time. Balance Due upon arrival should be CASH, TRAVELERS CHECKS ONLY. PLEASE feel free to call or email me even if the calendar shows booked. We have many changes, cancellations etc and I don't always get right to updating our calendar. Thanks!

Although I hesitated to write this review (I don't want Eagle River's best kept secret getting out), this was one of the best little B&Bs I've stayed in. The panaramic mountain view is phonemonal and breath-taking. Room was new, very clean and was very welcoming. The host was extremely friendly & provided wonderful homemade muffins! (thank you!) If you are coming to AK to relax, you won't be disappointed choosing this little place over a big hotel.

Beautiful view of mountains, very easy to find. Super friendly and accomadating hosts. It is a vacation spot you wish you could take home with you. I will definitely stay here again, I rate it an A++. Beautiful.Brian Ash
