Description of the Anchorage vacation cabin rental

This Nancy lakefront cabin, 60 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska on the Parks Highway, sleeps five. The lake has Rainbow and Lake Trout and Red Salmon. The cabin has large decks and a large dock and a beautiful view. It is between Anchorage and Mt. McKinley, which can be seen from the lake. The area has many trails and connected waterways, ideal for trail riding and rafting in the summer and snowmachine in the winter. The cabin has all the comforts of a home.

Area Description

Nancy Lake is located in the Matanuska-Susitna valley, Matsu for short. It is 25 north of Wasilla, 60 miles north of Anchorage, and three miles from Willow, Alaska. It is 150 miles south of Mt. McKinley. This area has many lakes, rivers, and streams and has great fishing and water sports.

The Cabin was a bit rough and could have used some finishing but thankfully the weather was amazing and so we were outside nearly the entire 3 days. The dock & lake were great for the kids. More of a place for young kids to have fun. Owners were nice and the place was clean and well kept. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed staying in the cabin. It has a beautiful setting with a lovely cabin it was perfect for our family. We spent many hours playing in the lake (swimming,kyaking and playing on our wave runners). It has open upstairs sleeping but for a family or great friends it is perfect. I can't wait to go back!
