Description of the Andes vacation cottage rental

When you arrive to the cottage you will immediately notice how clean and comfortable the house is. Extra care and time goes into making sure everything is fresh and clean for your arrival. Like an upscale hotel you will enjoy knowing that every detail is considered for your enjoyment and comfort. The home does not display any personal items belonging to the owners. All of the closets, dresser drawers and cabinets are empty. You will feel like it is your home while vacationing here.

A pond is right outside the kitchen where a 40 foot deck leads to the dock.  You will wake up to the birds singing and fall asleep to the soft sounds of a flowing stream that is directly behind the house. You may want to eat all your meals outdoors on the deck while you are fishing, reading a good book, sunbathing or just admiring the views. The outdoor gas grill is always ready to be started up. You will love the sights and sounds of hundreds of feet of a flowing trout stream surrounding the cottage.

The cottage is landscaped with over 30 evergreen trees that stand over 50 feet tall.  There are no other houses in sight as you can watch the sun set over the open mountain view in the backyard. The 3 bedroom home sleeps 6 and has been recently remodeled and updated.  Everything is new including the surround sound large screen plasma TV system that converts a country living room into a hi-tech theater.

The bathroom has brand new updated fixtures along with a jacuzzi tub.  The kitchen also has all new appliances, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, washer & dryer, microwave and all the dishes and utensils needed.  All of the bedrooms include clean linens and radio alarm clocks, satellite TV and CD/DVD players. The office includes a computer with high speed wireless internet service, fax and telephone and also has a futon in it that opens to a very comfortable full bed.
 
A built in sound system lets you listen to music throughout the house including outdoor speakers. This country cottage has all the luxuries of easy living but will take you back to a simpler time with its unique setting, wood floors, fireplace and rustic decor.

Andes is located in the highest mountains of the Catskills Mountain Region. The village is only a few minutes away and is packed with specialty shops, museums, galleries, antique dealers, restaurants, and a convenience store. Enjoy live bands and comedy shows at the Andes Hotel.

A free community swimming pool is open all summer and offers free swimming lessons. A beach and large swimming lake is also available to guests at near by Belleayre.

The house is located a little over one hour from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, 45 minutes from Woodstock and 20 minutes from Belleayre Mountain Ski Lodge.
