Description of the Antigua vacation home rental
My Beautiful 4 bedroom home is situated in an enclosed friendly gated community, 2 blocks from the local market, and only 7 from the Central Square in Antigua.
The views are spectacular. Imagine waking up every morning to a majestic Volcano right outside your bedroom window!
There are 3 open fireplaces to build your own fire and wherever you look you will see exposed brick, old wood and wrought iron.
The Large Kitchen overlooks the outside patio and beautiful garden.
A gardener comes once a week and Dona Clara Luz, the cleaner comes Monday-Fridays for 3 hours to help clean up, which is included in the price.
If you would like more help, this can easily be arranged prior to the rental.
Area Description
Founded in 1543, Antigua is one of the oldest colonial cities in all of the Americas and is considered to be one of the most beautiful.
Situated in a valley and surrounded by three volcanoes; Agua, fuego and Acatenango, Antigua is a city of
understated charm and elegance.
The city surrounds a Central Park and getting around is accessible by foot walking throughout the cities cobble stone streets.
Famous for its Galleries, Spanish Schools and romantic settings, Antigua attracts thousands of visitors and welcomes them to a wide-variety of cultural events, dining and unlimited shopping possibilities.
This property is in a perfect location. Minutes from the Market and a 5 minute walk to the Center Of Antigua.
Philippa mentioned we could have meals cooked by her housekeeper, Clara, and two of the days of our stay we did have her help out. Shopping with her in the local market was so amazing! It really made us feel part of the community and she is a fabulous cook!
Our family of four and another couple visited together and the layout of the home was perfect for us. The upstairs three bedrooms and two baths worked great for our family and then the other couple enjoyed the bedroom and bath on the first floor. It gave us both the privacy we needed in the evenings, but the pleasure of visiting together in the rest of the house during the daytime.
The morning views of the volcano from our upstairs bedroom patio were such a pleasure! This truly was an amazing place to stay.

The home is beyond your descriptions....it is so wonderful! My husband loves the hammock!
