Taos, N.M., is about a 70 minute drive and Sante Fe is about a three hour drive (or less) from the cabin. Pagosa Springs is around 1 1/2 hours and Durango is less than three hours.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Thank you so much for allowing us to borrow it. We loved the view from the master bedroom in the morning.....So great to wake up to! We wanted to get away from the city and all the craziness and we got exactly what we were looking for. Great fishing at Platoro Reservoir also!

We got what we were looking for a veiw, log house, clean, peaceful, wild animals, river nearby and more. We were in the area to put our son in college at Adam State in Alamosa. The drive was about 50 minuite from cabin to college. After site seeing at the end of the day we all were ready to go back to the cabin. I loved the veiw from the master bed room window! It would be wonderful if there was a deck off the master bedroom and dining room. With a roof over top of deck. I wish we had spend more time at the cabin. Deron was great to work with and seem very down to earth. He was helpful with information that we needed. I would stay again and again! Our cell phones and lap top had no reception. There is a phone in the cabin that we could used with our calling card. We needed more than a week at this log cabin. I started missing it two days before leaving. Thank you, Glenda
