Description of the Aptos vacation home rental

In the beautiful quaint village of Aptos, 5 minutes down the steps to the beach. I love to walk along the boardwalk from one end of the beach to the other, with snack shops, market, shops and one very fine restaurant. A great place to walk your dog since we are pet friendly. A very private property surrounded by giant oak trees and ferns. There is a ocean view from the kitchen, bedrooms, dining room, living room and patio. The home has 4 bedrooms 3 baths. Three of the bedrooms have queen size beds, 1 has a kingsize bed. Two stories with a cathedral ceiling and open floor plan, seperated by a wrap around bar with bar stools, so you can talk to the chef while enjoying a glass of wine from the many winieres in the area. The kitchen has a large stainless steel frig with a ice maker. stove dishwasher, mixers, blender, etc. everything you might need.
The living room has a large jean sofa and attached lounge chair, a tasteful recliner for those large guys and several other comfortable chairs. The TV ia 32 inch flat screen, also vcr, dvd, stereo, phone, many movies and music disks.
Its very cozy with the large gas fireplace and gazing at the ocean. There is a deck off the living room facing the ocean, small but large enough for two lounge chairs, tables and deck chairs. The large dining has 6 large chairs, and 2 folding chairs to seat 8 comfortably. There is a large bookcase with many books and games. The home is very, very nicely decorated. There is also a full bath on this level. downstairs are 3 of the bedrooms, two with ocean views, hthe one bedroom without a ocean view has a TV dvd vcr. In the hall is an area with a desk, chair, dial up internet. and 2nd phones. The bathroom has a shower bahtub and double sinks. Seperating the main house by a large glass covered patio with a gas barbeque, table, and chairs is the 4th bedroom. This bedroom has a kingsize canopy bed, gas fireplace, large closet, bedroom with bathtub, shower, and a skylight over the bed. I had fun shopping for as many prints and some oil paintings of lovers that I could fine, so its very romantic. We love the tides of love and hope you do to.

Aptos is famous for the cement boat. Just after the war it was built but never put into service. It was then turned into a night club with dining, dancing while looking at the ocean with huge glass windows. It went broke (to bad) Also
was billed as having the largest swimming pool in the U.S. and maybe the world. I have a old photo of where it used to be. Also of course we have the amusement park and santa cruz pier. There are many fine restaurants in the are, theatres.
