Gorgeous Ocean Front House, Rio del Mar~Aptos (#42996)

Write a review This beach house is perfect for a wonderful vacation by week or weekend. It's very clean, well stocked with all supples a family needs. Great location across the beach. We have stayed at five other beach houses on Beach Drive(some at more of a cost) and this one is superior to all others. The layout is wonderful. You even have a card table for those who want to play cards or games. The deck is wonderful as you overlook the beach. The master bathroom is gorgeous. We are going back to this one; we won't try any others. We found the perfect beach house! Thank you for sharing it with us, Linda Mohr We escaped to this fabulous beach house for a family celebration & we were all thrilled with the house. It is not only beautiful but it is comfortable and just steps from the beach!! We watched the dolphins from the upstairs deck! AMAZING!! We loved the cobble rock fireplace. We even enjoyed a fire on the beach! This beach house is absolutely fantastic! Layout is great-I also liked the family room separate from the kitchen area-gave the teens some place to "hang" and the tile floors make for easy cleaning of the sand! Decor is darling-a lot of special touches that I have in my own home! Hope to stay again sometime. This house is very nicely kept and well furnished. Mattresses are almost new and were much appreciated, although the one in the Master Bedroom is a little soft if you like a firmer mattress. It is a great family place. We've been renting in the area and in Hawaii for many years, and for us this was one of the top places, particularly because there is a nice sized patio in back, quite private and a great spot in which to barbecue. The master bath is very nicely done with shower, jacuzzi tub, dual sinks. Owners very responsive.We were quite surprised to find a nice bottle of wine awaiting our arrival . . never happened before in the area (and the family has been renting there for about 90 years. The house has a living room in front next to the dining and kitchen areas and a large family room in back. This room was great for our annual costume party at the beach. The small refrigerator upstairs was very helpful. Right across from the beach. Can definitely recommend. Dr. J Wonderful location and view at the great Rio Del Mar beach. Once you get here the home has everything and the back yard is great for bbq and hosing off. Having a living room and a seperate family room gives kids and adults their own space and the 3 baths help too. The second floor deck is shielded from the wind and is great for coffee and relaxing with a great book. The home is very cute and clean and the owners have put in extras to make your stay very special. This beach has life Guards and fun bonfires. Also can walk to deli and restaurant. Being steps from such a long stretch of beautiful beach is priceless. Hope to return again next year.
