Description of the Arecibo vacation villa rental
Atlantic Sand Oasis-When I came back to this island in 1982, I discovered this paradise spot where I decided to buy and develop this vacation villa. I was inspired by the attractive view of the lighthouse and the clear water of this sandy beach 365 days of the year, which surround the area. In a sweet escape… to this paradise, you will be able to enjoy beautiful green backyard which have a direct access to the beach, perfect for resting in a hammock or just relaxing under the palm trees having your preference beverage in a beautiful afternoon watching the sunset.

In this villa you can enjoy different activities with your family or as a couple, such as surfing, jet ski, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, playing any sport or even deep sea fishing. There’s also a light house that has an aquarium and museum for the family to enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose Arecibo: We chose this location to develop our Villa because its located in a beautiful beach right at the north center of the island, where you can enjoy all kind of activities and at the same time being close to all attractions over the island.

The Unique Benefits at this Villa: When you stay at Atlantic Sands Oasis you will feel as if you have escaped from big cities, even though you are just minutes away from all important cities of Puerto Rico. You will feel in a paradise relaxing and breathing fresh air. There's many interesting places near this location that you can visit and make tourism.

A multipurpose activity roof terrace is at the 3rd floor with a stunning view of the mountains and the beach, perfect for planning any event, such as wedding receptions, reunions or any activity that you can imagine.

You can enjoy many restaurants of typical delicious puerto rican or seafood in the area.

Atlantis Sands Oasis is a perfect place to rest, disconnect from your usual lifestyle, and liberate stress. It’s just a getaway from your everyday routine where you can relax… relax …and get pleasure from this beautiful beach paradise.

My family of 11 just got back from a wonderful vacation at the villa. We ranged in ages from 1 year to grandparents. The house and grounds are beautiful and clean. Javier and Lupe thought of everything and we felt right at home. There is so much to do on the island; great places to dive and snorkel and fish, but we didn't catch a thing! We recommend the trip to La Parquera and fluorescent bay. That was awesome but be sure to go when the moon is not bright to get the full benefit. Javier planned everything and took us on the outing. Wonderful day! It was a bit long for the babies but we all had fun. Jessica, the caterer, provided a dinner and two nights we went across the street to Havana's, a new restaurant that a family from NJ just opened. (open Thurs-Sun) Prices for both were reasonable and both served excellent food! We ate dinner most nights on the roof as the sun set. Beautiful! I was a bit concerned about the winding steps but the 2 year old managed them better than I did and we kept the gates closed so our adventurous 1 year old didn't escape. Just a helpful hint, the best grocery shopping is at Pueblo's and Walgreens has a surprisingly good selection of wine! We definitely hope to return to the villa! Fabulous time! Beautiful villa, grounds and beach! And Javier and Lupe cannot be more accommodating.

AMAZING TROPICAL GET AWAY
5 of 5
Our group of five friends rented the entire villa for one week. This property is outstanding, impeccably clean and Javier has thought of every detail to make it a very comfortable stay .The ocean views from this property are postcard perfect. The beach is very private but be aware that the waves, although very beautiful, can be a bit rough for non swimmers. The local people are very friendly and eager to help. There is a bakery located just west of the villa that has awesome pastries and sandwiches and a fish market down the street that opens at 8:00 A.M. They have a very nice selection of sea food to cook on the brick grill at the villa (best sea food I have ever ate). I highly recommend this if you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. If you are looking for a touristy place with a party night life this may not be for you. We plan to go back!!! Diane From Iowa

PERFECT â FAIRYTALE WEDDING DESTINATION/VACATION
5 of 5
Perfect â
We rented the entire villa as a destination wedding location for 19 guests the week of Valentineâs Day 2014. We had an amazing time and a perfect fairytale wedding at Atlantic Sands. The property is an absolutely incredible and Javier has thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and memorable. As many reviewers say the pictures do not do it justice and they are accurate. This property will exceed all your expectations.
Our guest enjoyed walking on the beach, jumping the waves in the ocean, swimming and lounging by the pool, naps in the hammocks, watching the sunrise and sunset on the roof top, and soaking in the hot tub. The grounds of the property were so wonderful that we didnât spend much time inside. We took the advice of many reviews and tried the pork sandwich shop down the road on our first night and were glad we did as many of guests ate there multiple times. We also brought pastries from the bakery every morning. We rented cars and some of our guest took small day trips to the light house, caves, and radio telescope and exploring of the local area, while others we so happy they didnât leave the villa. We enjoyed the local road side vendors and purchased fruit, coco frios, empanadas, and chicken.
It is note worthy to say this property is by far the nicest in the area as other are run down but donât let this scare you away. You will feel like you are in your own little paradise. The property is gated and safety was never a concern. If you want to experience local fair and relax by the sea away from the tourist scene this is your place. The only negative that I can mention is several of our guests were subject to bites from sand fleas.

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN
5 of 5
We recently returned from vacationing jan31-feb7. We had 11 family members ages 12-72. We had a wonderful time. We rented the entire villa which I highly recommend.
The homes around this villa are a bit unkept with lots of graffiti and abandoned cars , but don't let this fool you! The villa and the grounds are beautiful. The road side view can't even begin to describe this property beyond the street.
The roof top has many lounge chairs and a hot tub. All the rooms were top notch. From the towels to the appliances (even new pans in the main kitchen). Make sure you buy extra garbage bags as they only supply a few. And bring quarters for the laundry machines. The locks are a little tricky at first, but you figure them out quickly. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of water boards available for your use.
Our girls took a surf lesson on the beach $30.00 for 3 hours. And can surf right out the back door. The undertow is very strong, so be careful with small children or adults drinking. The beach was virtually empty except on the weekend, and even then, there weren't many locals on the beach.
You can buy fresh fish at the end of the road and grill it there at the house. Great bakeries to the right and left of the house. Do have adults walk with the kids to the bakery. There is a wonderful restaurant to the left when leaving the house, a bit pricey but we'll worth the money.
A car rental is a must if you plan on seeing the sites. The parking is very secure.
We were bit by "no see ums", so a little bug spray is a good idea.
Make sure you get the internet pass code and in room safe instructions from Javier prior to arrival. Javier was very accommodating and was always available for questions. We would definitely recommend this rental and will be returning to puertorico.

A WEEK IN PARADISE.
5 of 5
My husband and I were engaged on Christmas Eve 50 years ago. We decided on a family trip during Christmas and we picked the perfect place for our family to spend time together. We were 8 adults and 8 children. The kids were ages 7-16. The villa and its surroundings are beautiful! The kids spent hours (supervised) on the beach and in the pool. We serenaded the neighbors by having a candlelight Christmas Eve service on the patio roof-top. We had 2 meals brought in by a great caterer! The kids said, "Can we come here again?!" I hope so---this was just perfect for us. Thanks Javier!!

BEAUTIFUL VILLA!
5 of 5
We rented the entire villa for a girls trip to Puerto Rico, and couldn't be happier with our choice. Javier was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The house and three studios were clean and well furnished, and the grounds were breathtaking. We spent most days sitting by the pool enjoying the view. The ocean is a little rough (but great for surfing!), so we took a walk down to the lighthouse and spent a morning swimming there. If you're looking for a good place to eat, there is a sandwich shop across from the bakery that has fantastic pork sandwiches. If you stay at the villa, ask Javier for directions - you won't be disappointed! We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone vacationing in Puerto Rico.

AMAZING
5 of 5
We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were amazed at the beautiful view from the Villa! The pictures definitely don't do it any justice. A coworker and I took both our families to the Villa for a vacation (total of 12 people) What I loved about it was that we rented the entire villa and there was plenty of room for all 12. They could get together in the common areas or there was plenty of space for a bit of quiet time if you wish. The local people at the bakery down the street were very helpful we made plenty of trips there, on one occasion, we were in need of a Taxi and attempted to call one. We were having language issues as the dispatchers spoke no English. We walked to the bakery and the very nice people there spoke to the Taxi dispatcher and told her where we wanted to go and where to take us back to. We had such a wonderful vacation at the Villa and Javier was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone! The only thing I would change is putting down some no-slip sheets down on the spiral staircase. Be very careful in the rain going down them! Other than that it was beautiful and we cant wait to go back. Thanks Javier!

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY
5 of 5
This place is beautiful. The living space was more than enough for 15 of us. The pool and beach are beautiful. This property is very well taken care of by Javier and Lupe. Javier took us on an amazing tour. We saw a lighthouse, went out to lunch, went snorkeling and swam in a luminescent bay. Javier gave us a great history of Puerto Rico. He was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. Best vacation ever. Thanks so much Javier and Lupe. The Sides Family

AMAZING WEDDING ON THE BEACH!
5 of 5
We rented Javier's house for the week for my sister's wedding on May 11th. This house was a diamond in the rough and everything we hoped for! We had 15 people at the house and enjoyed every minute. Javier is so very helpful and went above and beyond for us. The only down fall of the house is the stair cases, which are windy and a few people fell on. BE CAREFUL! The yard was PERFECT for the wedding and so gorgeous. You will be completely satisfied with this house rental. We will be back someday!

EXCELLENT!
5 of 5
This is a beautiful property that easily accommodated our group of 14; 8 adults and 6 kids. There was plenty of space to spread out and lots of options for places to hang out. The beach, pool and poolside bar were great during the day and the rooftop patio with Jacuzzi was wonderful at night.

We really appreciated all of the extra touches that were found throughout the property. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into making this a comfortable place to stay. The outdoor showers, poolside bathrooms, pool toys, basketball, bikes and helmets, abundance of lawn chairs, deck chairs and beach towels...all these things helped make a great villa even better.

We were also very impressed with the service we received from Javier. He checked in with us at the beginning of our stay and arranged a wonderful snorkeling/bioluminescence bay tour for us. He was readily available whenever we had questions.

We also couldn't say enough about the wonderful people that we met in the surrounding area. The people at the bakery and the local bar/grocery store were so kind and we enjoyed getting to know them. We went down to Cuevo del Indio and would highly recommend getting a tour from the gentleman who lives on the property. It was a fun adventure for both the kids and adults.

I would echo some of the other reviewers in saying that you do have to be careful of the strength of the current on the beach. We were there during an extended high surf warning and were told by a few of the local people walking along the beach to watch our kids carefully while they played in the surf. I can't speak to what conditions would be during different circumstances, but I would caution parents to keep a close eye on their kids to make sure they are not venturing out too far.

All in all, we had a great stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to get away from the tourist crowds and enjoy the real Puerto Rico!

DREAM WEDDING
5 of 5
I visit Puerto Rico often and I have to say that the rooms in this villa are more beautiful than most of the hotels I've stayed in. We rented the entire villa for my son's wedding and it was the perfect setting. All of our guests were amazed at this amazing place. I've read other reviews where they say the pictures don't do it justice and its so true. The beautiful pool (which is lit up at night), the bar in a perfect corner along the hammocks makes for a beautiful backyard and then you are looking out onto the gorgeous beach. We had about 70 guests (half of them from NY) at the wedding and everyone fell in love with the beauty of this villa. Javier is such an excellent host. Prior to the trip he recommended a car rental place that had the 15 passenger van we needed and also recommended a wedding planner, all of who turned out to be exactly what we needed. I wouldn't be surprised if he ordered the perfect weather we had on wedding day :) Our guests loved going to the local bakery to get fresh bread for breakfast and also went to a local restaurant "Picholo" down the road for excellent and reasonably priced puertorican fare. Javier helped us arrange a night boat trip to "La Parguera" and even helped us get there by phone when we got lost. I only wish that there would have been another way to get to the rooftop other than the spiral staircase (a little scary) but the younger adults didnt seem to have a problem with it. All in all, We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for my son and his new wife's dream wedding!

Perfect in every way! I was with the "lake people" from Nebraska and the Villa and Javier were great. Arranged fishing charter and recommend many places to go and things to do in the area. If you are looking for "Touristy" place with nightlife, this is not the place. If you want to hang out with friends and family in a beautiful setting and first class villa, this is the place. My husband and I (from Omaha) along with 3 others from Nebraska and 4 others from Missouri just returned from a week at Javier and Lupe's Lovely paradise. The property was EXACTLY as pictured, meticulously clean and had amazing amenities. Not to mention the VIEW. It takes a little longer to get around the island by car than the local people will tell you, but that didn't deter us and we enjoyed our day trips --- especially the Observatory--a MUST SEE. Javier and Lupe could not have been more cordial and helpful. We will definitely return!

IDEAL VACATION SPOT FOR FAMILY REUNION!
5 of 5
Our extended family (17 people ages 11 to 83) was thrilled with Javier's beachside villa! Everything was as described and the facilities were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. When small issues arose or we had questions about sight-seeing, dining or recreation, Javier was immediately available either in person (he was on the property overseeing the installation of a beautiful new patio/parking area) or by phone. Between the beach, the pool, the hot tub, the porches, the hammocks, the beach, the waves and the surfing, no one was ever at a loss for FUN!

The bottom three apartments are at ground level and thus have no stairs. However, there are rather steep stairs to the second floor apartment from the driveway and also two tight spiral staircases (one in back between the backyard and the second floor porch; one up to the top floor porch/patio from the second floor.)

The waves at the beach were perfect for the teenagers' surfing lessons (a surf school sets up on the public beach to the east several mornings a week) but too rough for swimming for the younger kids and older adults. But a 20 minute walk down the beach to the west led us to a very calm, enclosed natural swimming area. The water was CRYSTAL CLEAR and and so inviting.

As others have mentioned, the neighborhood is NOT TOURISTY. Javier carefully described security precautions to be taken such as keeping the front of the house locked while we were in the back. Area homes are generally very modest; some are beautifully maintained, others are abandoned. There was a small bakery/convenience store and restaurant within easy walking distance. Javier also suggested a shop (no signs outside) open nightly beginning at 6 that sells fantastic pork sandwiches; we ordered take-out there one night for dinner and it was delicious. There are many roadside chicken/fish/rice/beans food stands in the area, too.

From Arecibo we drove to sites all over the island. One of our favorite stops was the Cave of the Indians, only a mile or two east of the villa. Unbelievable views and petroglyphs!

I would definitely recommend this property. We enjoyed seven days of perfect weather and we truly RELAXED. Thank you, Javier!

PERFECT STAY!!!
5 of 5
Sorry it has taken so long to write this, Javier, life has been busy! My wife and I, along with close family, came here in June for our wedding. This was the perfect place! The inside of the house was very modern, and very very clean. Everything that you could need is in the house. Outside, well, it is perfect. When we saw the picture of the beach, we thought that it was photoshopped. However, when we woke up the first morning and looked out that back door, it was truly one of the most beautiful scenes we had ever seen. Bonus, the beach is literally right outside the back door, and it is very clean! The pool and poolside bar are incredible also.

Javier and his family are truly amazing people. He was so helpful for anything we needed, at any time. He helped us with everything from where to get food, arranging snorkeling, catering, and everything else. I can't say enough good about them!

The home is quite a ways from San Juan, but that isn't really a bad thing. It is far enough away that there is real culture. We wanted someplace to absorb the authentic, non-sterile (non tourist) way of Puerto Rican living, and got just that.

If we could give Javier 10 stars for this house, we would. We'd definitely stay here again!

MUCH MUCH MORE THAN WE EXPECTED. BEST VACATION HOME I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!
5 of 5
I typically am not one to write reviews but I must make an exception in this case. Javierâs & Lupe's villa was beyond perfect. We had 11 people and everyone had plenty of space to unwind and have privacy. We had a wide range of ages (an infant, pre-teens, teenagers, a couple in the mid 20's, some in their 40's and even 60's) and EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed the villa. We considered staying at a hotel/resort but we would never have been treated as well nor would the accommodations have been so personal. If I were to ever open a vacation property, I would try very hard to mirror what Javier and Lupe have accomplished.

As many reviewers have pointed out, the pictures he posted do not do the villa justice. We took some "postcard worthy" pictures on his property. The view is beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there when it rained one morning. I captured the best rainbow picture you can imagine. The "Pot of Gold" was right off the shore line behind the property so the villa's pool and backyard are in the forefront of the picture.

Javier was "Johnny on the Spot" whenever we needed directions, recommendations, dinner reservations, etc...If you have never been to Puerto Rico before, you can save yourself a lot of time and money by talking to him before you venture out on your own. I now consider Javier a friend.

When we returned, I was asked what my favorite part of the vacation was. Before I reveal my answer, let me say that we did a lot of tourist type stuff in the 5 days we were in Puerto Rico. My answer: The best part for me was when we were all at the villa just relaxing in the backyard or by the pool, playing in the pool or in the beach, and sitting in the hottub on the roof.

How do you please 15 family members with different styles and flavors? You go to this place for your family Reunion! I left the Island 21 yrs ago and going back to Puerto Rico has always been a difficult thing for me and my family. We have been to many places in the world including Hawaii, France Spain, etc. and none, none can compare to the time we had this last Thanksgiving weekend! This Villa has become the favorite place for my entire family and we will be back! The accommodations are A1, clean, good quality furniture, washer and dryer machines, full kitchen, central A/C, 7 bathrooms! oh my goodness, when you have boys in the house, you need at least 7 bathrooms available to make everyone comfortable! I am a photographer and would be happy to share some of the pictures I got at this amazing piece of Heaven! You will be so pleased with Javier and Lupe, they are all what you dream of a perfect villa owners, they thought of everything! Enjoy the taste of Heaven like I did!

FAMILY REUNION 20125 of 5
Our family reunion was a total success, thanks to these wonderful facilities. We were able to feel totally secluded from the rest of the world and enjoy each other's company like never before. My morning walks with my dad to get fresh bread at the nearby bakery, are something I will always treasure. My walks to the lighthouse added the perfect exercise , much needed after eating my mother's Thanksgiving meal creations. I highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon. Wow! This property is more than what you see here. We spent our Thanksgiving (2012) weekend with our whole family and we rented the entire place. It was just perfect. Clean, spacious and clean. Did I say clean already? This was better than a hotel. Everybody had their own private and independent room but then we could all meet in the main house. You will get more than what the pictures here show.

Javier is an extremely nice person and he answered all of our questions. I recommend this place to anyone planning a family reunion. We are looking forward to go back!

My Family and I were lucky enough to be able to stay in this place I have chosen to call PARADISE! The pictures do not do this place justice! It is like an oasis! I feel as though I have discovered the fountain of youth! We had an amazing family reunion and I am counting down the days until I can go back! I have a 3 year old and there was a toddler bed in one of the downstairs villas which was perfect! She never got bored! There are plenty of toys by the pool and the sandy beach was simply AMAZING! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who needs TOTAL relaxation. Javier was so nice and came the same night we checked in to make sure everything was going well and called the next day again to follow up! Our vacation was perfect and the only thing I would have changed would be for us to be able to stay longer!

SLICE OF PARADISE
5 of 5
I travel a fair amount and I use the vast majority of the time. I have never done a review. I feel I must in this case. This place is fantastic. Every picture you see and every review you read doesn't do justice to the million dollar view of the ocean. The palm trees and deep blue/green color of the water must be seen to believe. There may be equals, but no better views. I appreciated the fact that Javier is a true professional and in so, strives to make sure his customers have the best experience possible. The only "warning" I have is to beware the waves directly out in front of the villa. The warnings in other reviews do not do justice. I am 42 years old, in decent shape and a moderately strong swimmer and the waves had me concerned. If there are breakers more than 4 feet or larger, DO NOT go into the waves in front of the villa with kids, the under tow is far too strong. Go down the beach in either direction and swim there, but still watch younger kids closely. But all that said, those big waves are what make the views and sounds of the Villa incredible, so I wouldn't change a thing. Oh, and the sand, incredibly soft sand, can spend the day on the beach, although you won't want to as the Villa grounds and pool are picture perfect. There is a great atmosphere around the pool at night with the changing pool light colors. There is a nice little bakery/convenience store down the road (to the west) which has all the essential groceries if you arrive late and need the basics. The "bakery/convenience store" also makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The people there were quite helpful and nice, but come to think of it, everyone we spoke to was helpful and nice. The grocery store in Arecibo (10 min drive) has every thing you need, don't bother driving to the Walmart. This "area" is not a touristy area, it is a working class neighborhood, but we personally liked that. There is a washer/dryer in the upstairs of the Villa, but it is quarter operated, so bring quarters if you plan to do laundry. You really can't go wrong with Javier and his Villa, he thought of everything, from the beach towels to the toys for the kids to the boogie boards and the surf board. Thank you Javier, if we get back to Puerto Rico, you will be our first call.

PERFECT BEACH VACATION
5 of 5
I stayed in one for the studio units for 3 nights. The facilities are modern, clean, very comfortable and well maintained.. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for children to play and adults to relax in. The grounds have lots of shaded space and a great view of the beach and ocean. Everything is as shown in the photos. The owners provided exceptional service. It is hard to imagine a better place stay. I hope it is available for my next visit.

PARENTS 60TH. WEDDING ANNIVERSSARY- FAMILY REUNION
4 of 5
We celebrated our parents 60th. wedding anniversary plus a family reunion. We had family visit us from around the island. The villa was clean and well maintained. Javier was there to meet us when we arrived. We had a group of 20 staying at the villa plus about 15 more people staying at 2 nearby houses. The back yard was incredible with pool, covered bar and outside bathrooms. That was very convenient for our guest. Javier was available quickly when we called him about an issue we had. The villa is very secure with gated parking for a bunch of cars. Everyone loved the villa. Beach was very clean. Thanks Javier for the enjoyable stay.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE FAMILY REUNION AT ATLANTIC SANDS VILLA! A DREAM COME TRUE!
5 of 5
We celebrated our family reunion at the Atlantic Sands Villa in Arecibo - we rented the whole place. We had people coming from 7 states and from Puerto Rico and WOW - What a fantastic experience! It all started a year ago when we toured many places in PR to finally arrived at this paradise. Javier and Lupe, the owners, are very helpful, accomodating and extremely committed to make the guests stay a pleasant one. The house and apartments are completely equipped and very stylish and attractive. The yard - all in beautiful green grass, the pool, the beach - absolutely FANTASTIC! Everyone of our guests were so impressed and excited about the place! We celebrated my mother's 86th birthday in style and we all did not want to leave this paradise! Actually, we are all planning to use this place again very soon - SMILES!
Thanks Javier and Lupe,
Carmen

EXCELLENT HOUSE ON THE BEACH!!
5 of 5
We were a family of 16 vacationing in PR and rented this property for 6 nights. We had a very relaxing time, even just staying in the house. Breakfasts and dinners were by the pool almost every day. Pictures posted here dont do full justice to the beauty and the location of the house. The place is just incredible. We stayed from Sunday night to Saturday morning and had the beach almost exclusively to ourselves all the time. The whole setup on the terrace is just awesome. The best part for families travelling with children is that all stairs are child-proof.

The bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchens were very well stocked and also had some basic groceries. There were more than enough bath towels and beach towels. The pool is also pretty nice. Javier was always just a phone call away. We did have some issues with the internet but they were fixed by the next morning. When we polled everybody on what was the best part of the trip, the unanimous answer was - the house!!

The only negatives I can think of are - there is no dishwasher (no big deal for us) and this house is quite a drive from most of the attractions. Old San Juan is about an hour drive, El Yunque is about 1.5 hr drive, Fajardo bay is about 2 to 2.5 hrs, Ricon is about 1.5 hrs.. but given the size of our group, we made a conscious decision to opt for a bigger house and drive as and when needed.

BEST VACATION EVER
5 of 5
Me and 16 of my friends and family arrived at the villa at 3am to this gorgeous villa. The pictures does no justice to how serene and peaceful this villa is. We had an excellent time the neighbors are very kind people. Javier and his wife Lupe were always available for any questions we had at any time. They were always a phone call away. When we needed wine, he gave me too bottles of wine to enjoy. I will recommend this villa to anyone. There are alots of activiites to do in Arecibo, two caves are down the road from the house, the lighthouse is also not too far from the house. We visited the Observatory which was also cool and San Juan is a day trip. We had an amazing time in this villa. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean and taking naps in the hammocks. Spending time in the Jacuzzi and new gorgeous pool. I can't continue to rave about the Villa. It was beautiful and well maintained. I am already planning to return to the villa with my family again in December. if you plan on visiting san jaun you will definetly need a car and there is ample parking at the villa for your car. Thank you so much Javier. We had an awesome time.

FANTASTIC AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
5 of 5
My family and I just returned from our wonderful vacation stay at the Atlantic Sands Resort in Arecibo. The accommodations were ideal -- we relaxed in the pool, the beach, the hammocks...pretty much everywhere. The villa was immaculate and the yard was pristine. The location was perfect too. We were able to travel throughout the island to see family and friends as well as some of the sights. Javier and his wife Lupe were accessible for any questions and were very helpful. They were charming, friendly and informative. Thanks again for the wine Javier -- next time we'll make sure to drink it!

Of course, we will return. Plus, we already have recommended this piece of heaven to the rest of our family and friends. You won't regret it!

This is the best vacation home! One stay is all it takes to make you want to return every year. We even told the owners to keep our deposit on the way out!! We knew our family was returning! We have two small children, celebrated our daughters 1st birthday on vacation & we have our 3yr old. They had the best time! We have no complaints. The owner is extremely helpful & was able to answer any question we had. It was our first visit to PR so we had plenty of question. If you are renting a car let them know, they helped get us a great deal! Trust us if you want the best place to stay, THIS IS IT!!

BEST WEDDING EVER!!!! MINE....

This house is unbelievable! From the moment we saw it we fell in love with it and decided that it was our wedding reception place. It took us by surprise that in March, just a month and a half away from the wedding there was a construction. But Javier talked to us and said : "don't worry, everything will be ready for the big day". And it was!!! The patio is more beautiful now than before and the wedding was just spectacular with the pool and the lights and the new bar. Everybody had so much fun and it was just perfect.!!!!!! We are going back for our first year anniversary with all the family. Thank you Javier for everything you did and your great service!

DREAM WEDDING AND VACATION
5 of 5
We had 20 adults (family and friends) stay at the property for ten days. Some came from Poland and some from all over the U.S. and this property gave us the opportunity to accommodate everyone's personal styles. We had other guests who stayed at three different properties close by and they all were happy with the location and accommodations. The location was perfect for our sunset beach wedding and reception under the stars.

The property:
Upon arrival Javier warmly welcomed us and provided us with information about the area. Even before we got there, he was able to refer the car rental, wedding planner and other local services and attractions. We immediately noticed that he didn't cut any corners with the property: there are high end finishes in the kitchens and bathrooms, linens and towels are fresh and clean, and there are plenty of chairs and comfortable places to hang out around the property. The AC units and fans were quiet and efficient. The rooftop terrace is a great space for everyone to get together and when we had other guests visit there was plenty of parking space. We used the hot tub quite a bit as well.

The beach:
While the beach in front is more of a surfing beach, the natural swimming pool nearby was utilized by our guests daily and they enjoyed their morning walks and swimming in the calm waters. On Saturdays there are affordable surf lessons right next to the villa.

The area:
Arecibo itself is not a touristy town, which we enjoyed. However, the business owners such as the bakeries nearby and the fruitstand were very affordable and friendly. We walked there every morning to buy bread, fruit and pastries for breakfast.

The wedding:
We had our dream wedding at sunset right in front of the property. Sixty guests attended the wedding and the reception in the garden. Javier referred us to a local wedding planner who took care of virtually all the details. The yard was sufficient for our needs and the weather was comfortable for an outdoor venue. We used the downstairs bathrooms for our guests and when one of the toilets clogged, Javier fixed it himself immediately.

We highly recommend choosing Atlantic Sands. We are very excited about the addition of the pool and we plan on staying here in the future. We were able to have our dream wedding and a vacation with our friends and family that was affordable for everyone. It was truly a home away from home as we felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time.

BEAUTIFUL PRE-CRUISE STAY .
5 of 5
This place is beautiful and Javier is great! He drove into town to meet up with us after our gps got us lost(he showed up in what the girls called "herbie" a mini cooper with the # 11 on the side pretty cool). We spent 3 days at the villa, where we rented the penthouse it was so peaceful. No one was in the studios so we had the place to ourselves the terrace with the hot tub was by far the favorite spot to hang out. The beach was pretty much empty everyday which was a huge surprise as it is a tropical paradise. The only downfall to the beach is the surf it is very strong and the rip current is scary, recommend moving down the beach some where the surfers are. The neighborhood was a little intimidating to us as we are from rural maine and little on the white side so wherever we went we felt out of place. We did eat at some local restaurants and the locals were very friendly. The restaurant up the beach is by far the best, with great food and atmosphere, would highly recommend. Look forward to making a return trip to arecibo and Javiers villa in the future for a longer stay this time.

GOT KUDOS FOR BOOKING THE BEST PLACE IN PUERTO RICO! BETTER THAN THE PICTURES!
5 of 5
As stated by others, this place is nicer than the pictures and definitely worth booking! I took eight of my friends and we stayed here for four nights. We had so many activities planned that we didn't do as we simply loved the house and didn't want to leave!
The house is fabulously maintained and super comfortable. Really nice tile in the bathroom, super clean, thick, fluffy towels and nice linens. We cooked large meals for the nine of us and there were plenty of pots & pans and dishes, including great additional things like storage containers and corkscrews! We we're there over Super Bowl and had our own super bowl party with the flat screen TV. There is also a couple boogie boards, a surf board and even things like bocci ball that we used late in the evening after many drinks!
The beach is beautiful and far enough from the public beach that we had it all to ourselves. We walked down to the lighhouse and it was great having a smaller bakery/convenience store just a few blocks away. I also loved the fact that there were so many things to do close by. We went to the Rio Camuy Cave Park (very cool!) and the Arecibo Observatory with the largest radio dish in the world (the one in the movie Contact), both only about 20 minutes away. We also drove south to Batey Zipline Adventure and had a fabulous time doing ziplines, rapelling and boating.

I would highly recommend this location! It's close to San Juan, easy to get to and seems like your own little world with a private beach. All of us loved it and didn't want to leave! And Javier is easy to work with and super nice. High marks all around!

BEST FAMILY RETREAT ON THE BEACH!!!
5 of 5
These beautiful beachfront Villas, gave us the opportunity for all three of our families to have fun in a way no other places could. We enjoyed a walk to the lighthouse on a beautiful sunny day, where it was just the three families with all of our kids, not having to share the beach with anyone.

From this central location, we were able to visit all parts of the island within a short period of time. From a morning trip over to the Caves of Camuy, to the tropical rain forest of El Yunque, this gave us plenty to do and see. I also recommend a trip to Old San Juan and its famous sights.

Our three families stayed in the first floor studio units, where we all enjoyed clean, well decorated and very comfortable rooms. We are looking forward to planning a trip back, to enjoy another vacation with our family, including our mother and fathers 60th. wedding anniversary.

The photos do not do these beautiful Villas justice. Photos don't include the smell of the sea air, the sound of the waves, and the smiles that come from sharing with your friends and family this special time together... My 11 year old son's favorite spot-the hammock under the palm trees.

Thank you Javier and Lupe for all your work in making this time really memorable. We already are recommending the Villas to our friends back home.

WHAT A GREAT TIME!!!
5 of 5
We rented the Penthouse for our family, my wife and I, and our 4 kids,(2 adult children, along with 2 teenagers). I will share some detail but let me start by saying that despite a few honest and slightly negative things we will share, we would go back in a heartbeat.

First of all, the house itself is lovely. I would say it exceeded our expectations. We had no idea that others were staying below us. It is a bit of an oasis, meaning the neighboring homes are not nearly as nice, but we met the neighbors and they are awesome!! We felt very safe!! One day we went down the street to a little store looking for some fresh fish...a local who spoke no english jumped in the car with us and took us to a neighborhood where we bought fresh Dorado...it was the best ever!!! When I offered him a tip, he was genuinely surprised. He was just being a good neighbor! It's great to be away from the tourist area! Yet, Cumay Caverns, (the 3rd largest cave system in the world), and the observatory, ( largest radio wave telescope in the world), are only about 20 minutes away!! You definitely need a car. San Juan is about an hour, and we also made the trip to Rincon in the west, and Fajardo and Vieques in the east.

The yard was beautifully kept. Picnic tables, chairs, boogie boards, surfboard and toys all provided. We weren't expecting any of that. The beach was awesome!! We were there in Dec with BIG surf, which we love!. A word of caution...there was a strong and somewhat dangerous current. But a short walk in either direction avoided that. The Lighthouse is beautiful and provided great photo ops!! The deck above also has lounges, chairs, tables and a spa that we used every day!!

On the down side, our kids got a lot of bug bites while sleeping but we didn't. The guest bedrooms may need some pest control. It would also be nice if there was a dishwasher and better knives on the kitchen. But according to Javier, there are many improvements coming, including a pool!!

We had a problem with the master bed, but Javier took care of it immediately while we are out site seeing and even left a bottle of wine for our trouble. Javier and Lupe are great, very friendly, perfect english and ready to help with anything!!

If there were no improvements done, we would gladly go back. Our kids said it was their favorite vacation ever and we have been all over!!

Thanks for an awesome vacation!!!

GREAT BEACHFRONT STAY!
5 of 5
My wife, 1yr old son, and I stayed at this property last month for two nights. We had a great time. The beach is beautiful, the light house makes for a perfect post card and the beach house is in 'like-new' condition. If you like to surf, there is a weekend surf camp that provides classes at the same beach. The restaurant âSalitreâ has some of the best seafood my wife and I have ever enjoyed. The ambience is amazing and it is literally within walking distance from the house. The house itself reminded me of a contemporary Miami style beach house. The fenced patio is great for the kids and for adults alike. My favorite spot was the hammock:) I would definitely love to stay here again. If you decide to stay at this house, recommend you also do the scenic drive on the coastal road. There are some amazing reef formations along the road that are quite unique. This place is in a yet to be discovered part of the island and as such bolsters a pleasant low-key yet immersed cultural experience. Canât wait to go back. Thanks for the great stay. Cheers!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
5 of 5
My family and I rented the two first level studio's for 4 nights and we enjoyed the homelike accommodations. Javier thought of everything at this villa like beach toys for the children, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, hot tub, soft beach towels, and beach tables. OMGoodness I love the queen size firm mattress and the beautifully done bathroom. This place has all the amenities and comforts of home all there for us. When you walk in the backyard, the beach was right there.....beach. Also, we saw the lovely Arecibo Light house and took some awesome pictures with the crashing waves. I can not wait to come back to this lovely villa next year with a bunch of my friends and just enjoy more fun in the sun. Highly recommend this place to all my friends if they ever come to Arecibo, Puerto Rico....stay at Javier's Villa....you will not be disappointed. Thank you Javier for your Puerto Rician hospitality!

ARECIBO ADVENTURE
5 of 5
I strongly recommend this villa for a group. There were 17 of us and renting the entire property was well worth it. Aside some unforeseen break-downs with the air-conditioning that were quickly addressed by Javier, the place was wonderfully relaxing. Walking straight out to the beach with its soft gentle sand is something to savor each day, especially for me who lives in a seasonably cold placeâ¦Wisconsin. I wanted to experience a more native-like surrounding, away from touristy places like San Juan. Arecibo is definitely the place, and this Villa offers the feeling of being an âislanderâ with a good sense of feeling safe because the property is well secured.
The ability to get fresh fruits is pretty easy since Fruit & Veggie Stands are all over. Unfortunately I yearned for freshly caught fish, but did not find a place until the last day of my visit. These catches, I understand, are offered early in the mornings, and are normally gone by mid-morning. Putting this one disappointment aside, I definitely will go back again. From John, The Family Head
Puerto Rico was really fun and a great experience for my family and me. What made it extra special was the house we stayed in. There were more than enough rooms for everyone to be comfortable. I liked the way all of the downstairs units had their own kitchens and bathrooms, not to mention the individual patio each has. I am so glad this house is by the ocean. It made the daily visits to the beach a lot more enjoyable. This house is very secure, comfortable, fun and beautiful. From Skylar Age 13

I enjoyed myself in Puerto Rico. The blue house we stayed in was nice, roomy and comfortably COOL! I loved the yard, the hammock, the sun-tanning chairs, the palm trees, and of course, the beach. I loved that the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked how there were 3 units downstairs with their own kitchen. I also liked how the upstairs was a whole unit with 3 bedrooms and the main kitchen where most got together to eat. And the roof! It was awesome with a Jacuzzi that was so relaxing. I loved the chairs that were there also. They were very relaxing. And the lizards were so cute! I also liked the idea of the gate to keep stray dogs out. And finally, I loved the walk out to the beach to swim and play on the sand. From Sydney, Age 9

Being under the Puerto Rican sun really is amazing, but even more fun is a beautiful beach house surrounded by close friends and family. When stayin

GEM BY THE SEA
5 of 5
The pictures do no justice to the true gem Javier and Lupe have.

My family rented the entire house and never had a problem or complain. The only complain we had was; our vacation was over and we had to leave. We are looking into renting again next year.

Location was perfect for us, peace and tranquility for those that wanted to rest and only 45 mins to San Juan for those that wanted a piece of city life.

I recommend this house and the yuca across the road from the local restaurant 100%.

Thank you Javier and Lupe for a fantastic stay.

TWO FAMILY GATHERING
5 of 5
My sister and our families enjoyed very much revisiting the Island, our childhood home. The Villa met all our needs for two families with a total of 9 children (10-28). Two children were married and one had a newborn. We loved the penthouse for all our gatherings. The studios were perfect for the married children. The upper deck was wonderful for our photo enthusiast. The beach front view was gorgeous. The Villa truely is set apart from the business and crazy traffic. The lighthouse area was wonderful to visit and watch the waves. One day, we watched surfers near there. While we did swim in the private beach, it does have a strong current. Our 10 year old wore her life jacket and was help by an adult. The kids loved swimming and snorkling in the quiet area near the lighthouse

We loved every visit with Javier and his housekeeper. The place was very clean and pleasing. We wished we could have stayed longer just to soak up the pleasant 80 degree weather and watch the waves!

GREAT FAMILY GATHERING
5 of 5
It is difficult to find a place with enough sleeping areas for a gathering of 5 siblings, their spouses, parents, an uncle, and a friend!! But This was near perfect. Javier was extremely helpful in so many ways. I would highly recommend his paradise to anyone. We brought the little tables up to the pent house varanda and had candle light dinners every night. I think if there was anything to improve on it would be to have tables available for eating just outside the kitchen. The beach is beautiful, the resturants Javier suggested served the best Puerto Rican fare.. and the local markets and fruit stands were so convenient , no reason to leave the villa, except to see the sights.

AMAZING 40TH BIRTHDAY LOCALE
5 of 5
Our family of four (two adults, two kids ages 8 & 6) rented the entire property for a 40th birthday celebration. Other guests included another family of four (two adults, two kids ages 4 & 5), two couples and a wing man.

This setting was PERFECT! The three studio apts and main house allowed everyone to have privacy, but free flowing access to one another via the spiral staircases that connected the back porches and GORGEOUS roof deck.

It was like the owners thought of everything in this well appointed space, b/c all we did was move wine glasses from beautiful to location to beautiful location, enjoying breathtaking views in every spot.

Over our 5-day stay we took full advantage of the veranda with its swinging hammock chairs which the kids loved and of course, the grassy backyard with its hammocks, loungers and palapa bars. We spent time, with and without the kids, in the sand under the shade of the palm trees and the newly installed canopy. We fully enjoyed the roof deck at sunset and under the stars at night.

What made this place great was the fact that we could all be together but still be doing their own thing! If one adult was reading in a hammock, the kids could be playing football on the main lawn and another person could heaven forbid, be checking email via wi-fi while sitting on one the smaller porches adjacent to the studios. Yet, we'd all be within earshot and eyesight of one another which made watching the kids a breeze!

The well appointed kitchen in the main house had all the items we needed to prepare proper meals for our group of 13! We grilled. We microwaved. We used the stove. We sat together inside and outside for meals. We were able to plop the kids in the front of the TV when needed b/c there was cable in ENGLISH and SPANISH!

The kitchens and bathrooms were modern, the linens and decor better than the caliber you would find at any nice hotel and the unit was immaculate. We are a picky bunch and well-traveled and the location exceeded everyone's expectations.

The icing on the cake was how wonderful Javier was. He was there when we checked in and out and able to help us answer any questions with just a phone call. He helped us get situated with local and stateside amenities. He went the extra mile and mailed the game our son left behind to us and took care to donate the leftover food items to a local charity!

There was clear group consensus that there will be a repeat trip in the future!

RELAXING VACATION!!
5 of 5
My three sisters and I spent a wonderful 5days and nights in the Penthouse apartment. We came from NY, Indiana, Canada and Ireland to celebrate the youngest's 50th!! The apartment is everything described - attention to detail, lovely balcony, pristine rooftop with pergola and plants, a gorgeous backyard with plenty of chairs for relaxing with a book while listening to the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. It was fun to watch the surfers in the great waves. Not being surfers we were thrilled to find the special swimming area a short walk down the beach (you can even drive around to get to it) - the water was perfect and crystal clear. We made sure we had one last swim before we headed to the airport!! Javier is such a pleasure and makes sure you have all the information you need. Definitely a hidden gem.

OASIS IN ARECIBO
5 of 5
Simply perfect in every way, Atlantic Sands is even better than the photos! The property is stunning and offers guests their own private beach (in 3 weeks time, the greatest number of people we saw on the beach at one time was 5); countless comfortable chairs, hammocks, loungers; beautifully manicured and maintained back yard; extremely comfortable apartment where we easily celebrated Christmas with 16 of us. Everyone loved the studios too. We cooked at the villa for every meal but 2 and did need to plan on getting disposable pans, but the kitchen was great, the refrigerator held huge volumes of food, and the grill was immensely helpful. The surf was fabulous and huge with several storms that passed through, the water temp was always warm, and, for the faint of heart or the weak legged ones, there is a fabulous natural ocean pool just 3/4 mi down the beach below the lighthouse. I cannot say enough good about Javier, the owner. Never before have I met anyone quite so accommodating or generous or helpful. Javier always responded instantly to any question or concern we had - and they were few and far between! His property and villa are both gorgeous and comfortable, and he totally made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. There are lots of nearby attractions and restaurants, but our greatest pleasure was being mesmerized by the ocean as we sat on the upper porch, the top deck, or on the beach. We all would have loved to stay longer...

EXCELLENT PLACE TO SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY. WE MADE OUR RENEWAL OF MARRIAGE VOWS
5 of 5
A very special place to share with your family. We rent all facilities, for use in our renewal of vows. It was a spectacular evening. The place is ready to make it all perfect. Sunny days, ideal location and very nice guests to share with them the whole weekend, in short, right place and right time for us! All the guests were pleased and very comfortable with the place, with the owner and the maid. (Javier, Mia made us laugh a lot while we were sharing with her, great!)

The idea was that we shared for a whole weekend with our family and closest friends and Saturday night to make dinner for everyone. It was a special moment, without stress, losing track of time. And when we were in love with the place was Sunday and we had to return all our everyday lives.

The color of the beach and the waves were spectacular, perhaps a bit strong for our children, but maybe it was the season where atmospheric riots in recent days. But there is a "natural pool" to swim in the sea safely near the lighthouse, you can even walk from the house. (about 12~16 minutes walking or jogging)

Many of us agree to come back. If we can give 10 pts to the experience we had this weekend we gave then would be 10 points.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH A FEW ANNOYANCES.
3 of 5
My family and I stayed there a few months ago for over a week. The owner is really nice. He is available at all times (i.e. we locked our things in the safe, we had a stray dog that wouldn't leave, etc.)... This place is exactly how it looks in the pictures. The rooms are nice, the back yard is large and is overlooking the sea. Access to a nice beach! And a full roof balcony where you can BBQ or just chill listening to the crashing waves.

The annoyances: even though the place is beautiful, it's not in the best neighbored. There are shady characters walking around. Not the type of place that you'd go for a walk once it gets dark. Additionally, at about day two, we were all bitten up. It seems like there's some kind of insect in the sand that bites or irritates the skin. It seemed like all the insect repellents didn't work! Many of us avoided the beach for this reason. Finally, when we left the owner tried to rank up an insane bill for all the smallest details which was really ridiculous. He took pictures of a trash bin that was not emptied, tissues on the floor, damages that were already there, and he also billed us for a missing surf board that never existed. In the end it came out to ~$1,500 for things that didn't make any sense... To me it seemed like he was trying to squeeze in some extra cash hoping that we would be stupid enough to pay it. Speaking to other people, it seems like this practice is not unheard of, so beware!

All in all, it was a good trip. It was a good base for us. And we had hell of a time. A beautiful place to stay, but don't get pushed around.

Owner's Response: All of our guests receive a rental agreement contract which they sign before arriving in to the Villa, assuming the responsibility of anything lost, broken, damage and also with all the rules. Sadly some guests pretend to violate the signed contract ,trashing a brand new remodel property, burning balconies walls with a improvise BBQ,leaving the property with out paying extra maid services, loosing a Professional Surf Board, breaking hammocks, leaving over 30 dirty diapers and trash all over the villa with out assuming the responsibility of there actions. We had to repaint rooms walls and balcony walls, not to mention it took 4 people, 3 days to get the property back to the way it was given. This is the only person that we have to forfeit the 550.00 security deposit, which by the way did not cover all the damages, extra expenses and has not paid yet the balance owed, $ 369.89 dollars. We started renting our villa for the past 9 month with no serious incidents, problems or ridiculous allegations, except this one,Thank, God ! .We are so glad to know and inform, that all of our Family guests had a very healthy, pleasant and safety stay in and outside our beautiful beach front villa, and also has received back there security deposit in full. With all the respect, Javier & Lupe
VERY RELAXING VACATION

I 100% agree with the other reviews. The place was awesome. The amount of work and detail put into the villa was extraordinary. It was so nice to wake up, eat breakfast, and walk out the back door onto the beach. Seven of us stayed at the villa. We rented the penthouse and two detached studio units and had plenty of room. The only bad part of the trip was when we had to leave to go home. I wish we would have planned for two weeks.
Don't forget to try Salitre Meson Coste that is just a couple blocks East of the villa. The owner is extremely friendly and the food is exceptionally good, not to mention it is also on the beach.

5 STAR QUALITY
5 of 5
OMG! Just spectacular. It was more beautiful than the pix or description offered. The room was impeccable. We rented a room on the bottom level and it was perfect for the 2 of us.The decor was high-end. We were welcomed by a charming Javier who was there to greet us & show us our room, along with recommendations as to where to eat & sights to see etc. When we opened the french doors that lead into your own private patio it was sheer bliss. The turquoise ocean is literally in your backyard. You can see the lighthouse to the left and to the right you can watch the surfers. We bar-b-qued & swung in the hammock in our own backyard. Started each day with a refreshing swim in water so clear that you could see your toes no matter how deep. We were able to cook foods we liked using fresh produce from the stand down the street & tried some new local flavors of Puerto RIco! Arecibo is a very quaint & relaxed town but has everything you need without all of the chaos of the city. Just perfect. We can't wait to go back. Definately 5 star quality.

AMAZING VIEW, BRAND NEW, NEED TO WORK ON DETAILS
4 of 5
Great location for the beach, beautiful, comfortable and brand new. Loved the luxury bathroom!!!
Small details need to be improved and I am sure the owners have already worked on most of them. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Great for vacations, beach and view are amazing. Need to improve WIFI and desk settings for business travelers (very low, spotty connection, no power plug near the desk). Studios are narrow (watch your knees, the corner of the beds is a killer!) but well design and integrated, perfect for 1 or 2, don't plan to be 4 hanging around at the same time though! I appreciated the kitchen (full equipped but missed a toaster and extra pans). Would have loved to have screens on the patio doors to be able to open the doors in the evenings (the bugs were very hungry)...Building alarm starting randomly (?) was also disturbing but it's better to have one, right?
So I recommend if details improve...

Owner's Response: Thank you very much to our guest V. from Canada for your sincere review and comments about your stay. We appreciate very much the honest observations and suggestions from our guests. Especially knowing, that we have just been open for the past four month, since March 2010, and itâs a brand new remodel property. All the small details had been taking care off already to make even more satisfactory the staying for our future guests and to make our service even better. That has been our priority and goal since the beginning. Thanks, Javier & Lupe

GREAT PLACE ON FANTASTIC BEACH
5 of 5
What a great place. The picture is true - that beach is right out the window, at the end of a lovely yard. The beach was fantastic - clean and no rocks when you get in the water. The interior was spotless and it is clear the owner really did a great job, luxurious towels, comfortable beds, lots of channels on the TV. You can walk to a small grocery store, bakery and pharmacy, and it is an easy drive into Arecibo for a larger grocery store. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again.

What a relief to find such a fine place and setting outside of the metro area, an hour drive. A nice piece of white sand beach and very close to: restaurants, CVS Pharm, gas, tourist attractions and the highway PR-22. Free internet is a plus. Dont waste your money on nearby highway hotels, been there.

BEST VACATION EVER, IT WAS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED, A PERFECT GETAWAY!
5 of 5
I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I must make an exemption. My family and I truly enjoyed our weekend getaway. While the teenagers played in the beach, the toddlers were collecting seashells and making sand castle. The rest of the family was either playing volleyball or just relaxing in the hammock under the palm trees enjoying the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. The studios are beautiful and modern, equipped with everything you need to have a great time. The whole family looks forward to coming back in the near future.
