Description of the Argenta vacation home rental

Beautiful treed acreage at the north end of Kootenay Lake with view of wild river, lake and mountain peak with glacier. Wildlife abounds. Southwest facing. Large organic vegetable garden. Hiking trails throughout property and beyond. Lake 5 minutes away. Habitat reserve/bird sanctuary in front of us and Purcell Wilderness Conservancy behind. Extra sleeping arrangements are available in camper and trailer on site. Small fully equipped gym on site.

Area Information

Endless activities nearby. Numerous alpine hiking, backpacking, and back country adventure options in the Purcell and Selkirk mountains of the Canadian Rockies. Many lakes for kayaking (lake or white water), canoeing, boating and fishing. Mountain biking and cycle touring. Many natural hot springs.
