Saluda Mtn Lake Retreat

The cabin was perfect. We stayed in the Hideaway, which will sleep 2 very comfortably. All linens, cookware, and dishes are provided. Quiet and peaceful, you could sit on the porch and just enjoy the woodlands surrounding the cabin. There were trails within the retreat and we were able to take our dog. This is the second year that we have stayed and enjoyed it all. Very clean, friendly caretakers, and close to many area attractions. Would highly recommend to all.

Myself and two other ladies took sometime for a retreat to the mountains for some RR. It was more than we thought it would be. Leaves were great and weather was perfect. Easy to find and very comfortable. Would go back any time.

Perfect Getaway Cabin!

Lake House is just what we were looking for in a mountain cabin - a little rustic, wood burning fireplace, very clean with modern kitchen & baths, and some luxury like a fantastic outdoor hot tub. The cabin has nice lake & mountain views. Secluded location, but easy to find just off I26, minutes to Saluda & close to other quaint small towns. Fun things to do on the property like paddle boats & hiking to a waterfall.

Everything in the cabin (more like a converted lake house)was in working order. We rented Mama Bear, the top floor of a 2 story house. I second the other comment about one bed being less than comfy. But we felt very private and loved hiking the trails on the property. The scenery was beautiful. The rep was very accomodating, in fact we had a second family decide at the last minute to join us and they rented the bottom half of the house. They even called us to make sure it was OK!! We wound up with 8 total and there was more than enough room for all. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful property for a great price!

Awesome place to relax and have some family fun

We absolutely loved our vacation at the Saluda Mountain Lake Retreat! The scenary was beautiful and even though all the other cabins were booked it felt like we were the only ones there. Our dog loved swimming and fishing with us on the pond and we took great hikes while in the area. The Bear Chalet had plenty of room and was very clean, plus the hot tub helps with sore muscles after climbing up the sides of mountains:) Only downside was our bed was less than comfy but all in all our family had one of our best vacations yet. We would love to come back for a fall weekend during color change - it will be GORGEOUS there then. The Purple Onion and Saluda Grade Cafe are great eating and only 15 minute away in the down town area. If you visit make sure to call Zach the first day for all your fishing gear and the inside scoop for good biting spots!

Asheville Cabin Rentals

We had a great time on our vacation. The cabin was very nice,we especially enjoyed hot tub on the back deck. It was very private and they are dog friendly. If you need anything the caretaker is there with a smile. Its close to Asheville so we made a few day trips. The town of Saluda was fantastic. There was also tubing right down the road. We will be coming back next year for sure.
