Our family getaway Log Home is perfect for large families of 6-8 members. This open floor plan is nestled away amongst the mountains of Western North Carolina with a clear 360 of the Blue Ridge mountain range. Full deck equipted with rocking chairs, 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, very modern kitchen fully equipted, washer/dryer, dishwasher, micro wave, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, ice maker in frig, liniens, towels, cable tv, vcr/dvd player, full working fire place, bbq pit, fire ring in yard. Access to 50 private acres to roam the nature trails. On site bass & trout fishing no license required. Mini-Golf, Music Hall. Try out a little Karaoke on Friday nights with Jerry.

The Family Getaway Cabin is perfectly located in historical Old Fort, NC. 18 miles east of Asheville, 9 miles from Black Mountain,30 minutes to the Biltmore Estates,Lake Lure, Lake James, Chimney Rock, panning for Gold & Gems are a big vacation treat to our guests . Beaches or Cherokee Casino are just a little over 1 hour away. Private fishing, tubbing & white water rafting tours available upon request for a small fee.
