The cabin is perched high above wild flower meadows, 3 stocked ponds and a mtn. brook - so watchful parenting doesnt disturb exploration. Slow-sloped grassy terraces wind from every direction to the brook and ponds, so grandparents can �take the long way� on their stroll to the weenie roast.
High above the Warren Wilson College valley (3200')- you�re minutes from finedining or Mt. Mi tchells vistas. The ranch-style cabin is located on the lower 3 acres and the peak of the property abuts the Ashevi lle Watershed. A very private retreat on a no-thoroughfare road where time has no dominion.

We were told we would get our deposit back, after our rental stay and it's now 7 weeks later and nothing! We had an OK stay at the moutnain house. There was smelly food in the refrigerator. The mountain house is dark and basic. The ponds for fishing are just feet from the road. I wouldn't waste your relaxing time at this place, you lose all that dealing with someone who is not truthful.

The kids can play and run free - no worries, we can see them from the house on the hill. Lots of biking, fishing an exploration on the 15 acres. Highly recommended because it's not on a steep mtn. side where the kids would have no where to play.
