Description of the Asheville vacation cottage rental

Charmed Cottage is located just 18 miles from downtown Asheville. The cottage is at the end of the road on 11 beautiful, private and secluded acres. The back and side of the cottage is cradled by the mountain it sits on and the front and side of the cottage has a view of 7 mountain ranges. The cottage main floor is just about all windows with no harsh/hot sun at any time of the day.

Charmed Cottage has luxury amenities, fully loaded kitchen to prepare your simple to elegant meals, two living and two dining areas, woodburning fireplace, two and one-half baths, a large hot tub with it's own deck and spectacular view and a small stream with waterfall about 30 feet from the cottage. Three flat panel TV's - all with DVD player combined - very easy to use.

The cottage has four decks: one intimate deck for talking and enjoying the view, another intimate deck for dining and enjoying the view, a large deck for reclining, dining or enjoying friends while being cradled by the backdrop of our mountain, and our newest deck for the hot tub for relaxing under the stars and moon and enjoying the solitude and view.

The surrounding area is mountain and forest. The view is textured and feels like you can almost touch it. Driving to the cottage is beautiful. The cottage sits at the top of the mountain - end of the road at 3500 feet elevation. You have no road noise, no sound of traffic, just nature at it's best.

Our stay at the Charmed Cottage was a welcome and much needed retreat. The Cottage was beautifully appointed and perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The drive up to the Cottage was a little concerning, but once we arrived, all concerns went away. The drive there was worth it. It took about 30 min to get to downtown Asheville where we dined out nightly. The hot tub was relaxing and we spent plenty of time enjoying the view and watching stars. We were told we wouldn't want to leave and we didn't want to. We had to leave, but we will be back!
