Description of the Asheville vacation guesthouse rental

The Historic Brigman B&B - on the National Historic Register - totally refurbished in 2004 - 150 years of ambience in an effectively brand new home! This enchanting and extra special house is wonderful for family reunions with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 full baths. There is a 2 BR 2 BA cabin next door that may be reserved with "The Big House" for groups wishing to expand a bit, for a 7BR 6.5BA combination. Mantled fireplaces in every room, full amenity all new kitchen with double gas ovens, washer/dryer, open and flat lawn for outdoor enjoyment, views, creek, WI-FI ready, unlimited local and long distance calling. All extremely convenient to Asheville and all of Western NC. When reserving all of The Historic Brigman, breakfast is not included in the price and guests are "on their own" at the house.

Just the two of you' On short notice (within 30 days of your check in date and based on availability), a bed and breakfast room may be reserved at The Historic Brigman House. Each room has a full & private bath, many rooms with spa tub, all with in-room cable TV, coffee-maker, electric kettle, luxurious bedding, robes and WiFi access. Breakfast is included when reserving by the room and served each morning in "The Gathering Room".

Area Description

"Just down the road" and within a mile or two are Vance Birthplace, Reems Creek Golf Course and Ox Creek Road a four mile scenic road that links directly to The Blue Ridge Parkway at Bull Gap. The quaint walking town of Weaverville, with privately owned restaurants, cafes & shops is just a few miles away; and in just 6 miles you're in North Asheville. I-26 & I-240 provide you with quick & easy access to Downtown Asheville where shopping, dining, galleries, live music, abound & astound! Visit The Biltmore Estate (purchase discounted tickets directly from us), Chimney Rock Park to the South, snow skiing, hiking or biking in Wolf Laurel, an easy 25 miles to the North. Christmas at the Brigman House, December 30, 2008

We had a family reunion Christmas at the Brigman House and cabin. It was wonderful! The house is terrific for a large group. The gathering room and kitchen are great for large groups and the private parlor provides a nice getaway for those who need quiet. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and very charming. The house is very old and has been refurbished and we loved the old timey feel. The only thing I would recommend is adding some new pots and pans!
