Our family, nine adults, three children, and one infant, rented the entire house for three fantastic days in June, celebrating a milestone birthday. I have been telling friends how absolutely perfect it was! I had seen pictures, descriptions, etc., of the house, but it was even better than I had anticipated. The gathering room absolutely "made" the experience for us. We flowed in an out from the gathering room to the porches to the stream to the lawn, and into Weaverville. Even the kitchen accommodated multiple cooks/preparers! What a perfect mini-vacation!

We had a family reunion Christmas at the Brigman House and cabin. It was wonderful! The house is terrific for a large group. The gathering room and kitchen are great for large groups and the private parlor provides a nice getaway for those who need quiet. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and very charming. The house is very old and has been refurbished and we loved the old timey feel. The only thing I would recommend is adding some new pots and pans!
