Our stay at Lisa and Kris's home was so mellow. The porch, with a sunset view of the city and mountains, was so very comfy, with couch and rocker and swing and table. We spent quality time out there, and on the spacious patio with our Asheville grandchildren. We brought our lab and she really enjoyed the neighborhood dogs. This is such an elegant home, within walking distance of Greenlife, the City Bakery, and downtown. Thanks to Karen O, the caretaker, for making time to show us around and answer all of our questions. Every room in the house has been crafted with care. Thank you Lisa and Kris.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Lisa, we loved it!! We could not decide what was our favorite between the wonderful front porch, cozy living room with awesome gas fireplace, stunning dining room, well-equipped, beautiful kitchen, fantastic master shower and great location!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, and a trip to the Biltmore (can't miss this) for the Christmas display (10 min. drive), and many walks to town to shop (20 min. walk). There is a great whole food two minutes away, think we were there everyday! We loved Asheville and will return to your lovely home again. Thanks for the great family memory!

What a wonderful home to stay in while visiting a great town! Our family loved every minute of our time spent in this cozy spot. It was perfect for our short getaway to Asheville...comfy accommodations & close to lively downtown. The hot tub was icing on the cake :-)

Serious attention to detail. The place and the owner were amazing. Super close to downtown, yet it's nice and quiet. Top shelf appliances, cozy couch, fireplace, jacuzzi. Seriously, there's nothing more I could ask for.

We needed a home near to the Grove Park Inn because we had relatives staying there. This one fit the bill! My complaining son, took the room with the desk and immediately set up his laptop. As soon as he saw the super cool master shower, he insisted on using it instead of the second bath shower. I have a very modern kitchen at home with nice appliances, but I was still jealous of those at this home. Wish I had actually cooked more with them! Very quiet neighborhood and any issues were dealt with immediately and thoroughly. Owners are sooo sweet and thoughtful. Can't wait to go back. By far, the nicest home we've rented in the Ashville area and we've rented plenty.

Great house, tastefully decorated, well appointed. Super comfy beds (tho you need a ladder to get into them!). Especially loved the porch, with its swing, and the outside ceiling fan, which really helped during hot summer nights. Great to have a split dishwasher for smaller loads -- just something not mentioned in previous reviews. Was perfect for us, our 4 yr old son (who loved the office as his bedroom), and our two kitties. As well as the additional visiting guest. The house is also very accessible to downtown, but still quiet & peaceful. The "staff" (caretaker & housekeeper) are also first rate, super helpful, and friendly. If we come back to Asheville, we know where to stay! Thanks so much!

This was our first time venturing out on a road trip. We rented this lovely home for a month and had one of the most wonderful vacations ever. The house is absolutely gorgeous with every detail attended to. The kitchen is lovely and so well equipped with beautiful new stainless steel appliances; deep composite sinks; stone countertops; and plenty of pots and pans, dishes and flatware. We didn't need to bring a thing. The dining table seats six with room for maybe eight. The living room has a lovely stone fireplace, large 46" LED TV on the wall and fantastic stereo system. This house was professional decorated eclecticly with beautifully selected pieces and accents. The bedrooms have 800 thread count sheets and sensational bedding. The towels were heavy and plentiful. The wrap around porch offered plenty of seating and lots of scenery. Fireflies would adorn the sky at dusk which was a fun surprise. The neighbors were all friendly and inviting. It is truly more than a house, it is a home and we can't wait to go back.

I recently rented this property for a month and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The accommodations totally lived up to expectations right down to kitchen implements. The listing pictures accurately depict the property and everything was very well maintained. I especially loved the porch. It was perfect for a morning coffee and a good read and in the evening for a nice glass of wine and a good view. I tried all the seating arrangements and loved them all. It is close to downtown as advertised and also has a spectacular butcher shop right down the street for enjoying their great barbecue grill. Even the barbecue grilling implements are top of the line!! I highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

I spent 3 nights at the house with my 4 girlfriends from college. We really enjoyed the home and Asheville. Despite the heat we spent quite a few hours out on the porch talking and laughing. The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, plenty of room for us. The house was just a mile from the middle of town -- we walked to breakfast. The city had lots to do, good food and wonderful locals -- we would return to the house in heartbeat!
