Area Information
Welcome to my listing! I am a former corporate executive who has spent more than enough years on the road traveling for a living. I always knew that I would realize my dream of living in the mountains someday. As a grandmother to 5, I wanted to be closer to my family and they all live within a few hours away. I actually built this custom home to my exact specifications and it became a relaxing retreat for my family and friends. I am now downsizing my living arrangements and want to offer this retreat for others to enjoy!

After spending a year in the area and searching for the best location to 'lay down roots'; I found this property with my daughter. After walking the land, I immediately felt a sense of the history of this acreage and upon further research, I found that the Civil War was fought around here. The book that described the land and the area is named: The Secret of War by Terrell Garren. This is the story of his family lineage and many of the grave stones in the nearby cemetery bear his family name. You can 'feel' the history of this property.

This home is located on 3 acres of wooded land within 8 privately owned acreage. With few neighbors; the feeling of peace and harmony resonate all around the inside and outside areas. Sitting on the deck(s) with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee is heavenly!
