Description of the Ashland vacation home rental
I have a mobile home/camp for rent during the spring, summer and fall. Perfect for moose, grouse, deer and bear hunts, this is located in northern Maine, Aroostook County, the Gateway to the North Maine Woods, and within very close driving distance to WMD Zones 2 and 3, and spans districts 5 and 6. This is on a main road very near to grocery store, liquor store, gas station, convenience store, etc. and 2 miles from the Realty Road (THE BIG WOODS) and the game tagging station. The property has two twin beds in one room which can be pushed together for a king if requested, a double bed in another room, a couch in the living room, and room for a queen air mattress, which I will provide. There is an electric stove/oven, coffee maker, toaster, full refrigerator, gun rack, boot dryer, etc.

There is a convenience store within a mile which is very hunter friendly and has a full-service deli for sandwiches, pizza, etc. The grocery store/agency liquor store is less than a half mile from the property. All the conveniences you need, yet minutes away from moose country.

My rates are VERY reasonable and extremely fair and competitive!! Get in touch NOW if you want a hassle-free hunting experience or true remote vacation that won't break the bank! Please call, text or email for rates and availability.

A cozy home away from home!

We went knowing we would enjoy the outdoors and the sites of fall, but we were pleasently surprised by the rental camp. Comfortable and inviting was our first impression, which lasted throughout our stay. The bedrooms are carpeted which was good, because I forgot my slippers! The kitchen is high functioning and very user friendly, having the grocery store within half a mile was a great plus! We loved the view from the living room, and how warm and cozy the camp was in the northern Maine chilly weather. Great camp and wonderful stay, we highly recomend for families and hunters! Will be back again!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are linens provided?
A: Yes, bedding for all beds are furnished, including pillows, and beds will be made up just prior to your arrival. There is an ample supply of bath towels, hand towels, face cloths as well as dish towels and dish wipers. However, depending on the number in your party and length of stay, I will come once during your visit to collect and wash towels, etc. if requested.
Q: What do we do about food?
A: There are basic sundries (salt, pepper, some condiments) however you are asked to provide your own food. There is a small grocery store 1/4 mile from the property. Oftentimes, previous guests will leave behind non-perishables for other guests to use (soda, etc.) The camp is thoroughly cleaned between stays, including the refrigerator, however if there are non-perishables left behind, feel free to use them, and do the same, ala the "leave a penny, take a penny" tray at the grocery store.
Q: What do we do with our trash when we leave?
A: Please leave all trash in the large black trash barrel outside and trash will be promptly collected on Saturday mornings. If you have any returnable cans and bottles that are refundable in the State of Maine, please leave those in a separate bag if you are not taking them with you.
