Description of the Ashland vacation cabin rental
Lovely log cabin situated on 160 acres of tall evergreens and rolling meadows. 1200 square feet with open loft, full kitchen, hardwood floors, stone fireplace, and front porch. Very private. Wonderful in all seasons. Hiking, biking, swimming close by, and great star gazing in the summer. Cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snuggling by the fire in the winter months.
Area Description
Close to Howard Prairie Lake with sailing, fishing, swimming. Several stretches of the Pacific Crest Trail go through this area. Property surrounded by Bureau of Land Management property which expands the hiking areas. Ashland is just 20 miles down the mountain where the Ashland Shakespeare Festival runs February through the first of November. Lots of art and theater in the area.
