The cabin was wonderful. Very beautiful and peaceful, comfortable for my entire family. We had never been to Oregon, and we discovered that the views were breathtaking.

A wonderful cosy retreat in the highlands above Emigrant Lake. Don't stay here if you want to spend your time in Ashland; the drive is long and tortuous. However, if you want to cycle over to Lake of the woods, Dead Indian Memorial Road, or just around Hyatt and Howard reservoirs, it's wonderful. Sit on the deck, sip tea or wine, and listen to the quaking aspen and the humming birds. This cabin would be very crowded with 8 people, especially since there is only one shower. It was great for the four of us (2 couples). The kitchen is well equipped and easy to work in. We would return here another year.

The cabin was very spacious and pretty. My family of 5 was very comfortable. We stayed there over Christmas and the owners left many nice ammenities like sleds, christmas tree stands, snow shoes, christmas music, lots of wood, etc. The property was perfect for sledding, we even made a jump for our snowboards in the front. The cabin has a wonderful bathtub that was huge. I surprised my husband and mailed a present up there and the owners worked with me to get it there. They really went out of their way to make it a memorable Christmas. The only drawback was that the appliances were old and didn't work great (washer and dryer) and that we had to take our trash with us to town, because there was no trash service. We would definitley stay here again. The area was beautiful.
