Stairs climb up through the old ivy-covered retaining wall at street level to little lawn areas and a lovely wide front porch. Sunset views across the valley, or breakfast alfresco in adirondaks, or just sitting on the porch swing amidst climbing roses and jasmine will delight you.

A Tempurpedic King bed and cute Mexican style bath, cooled with an evaporative cooler, make the attic bedroom suite very comfortable, while two lower bedrooms, each sleeping 2 in queen or twins, are fresh, quiet, and cool. These 2 share a bath. In addition, there is a large country kitchen, dining room, front room, laundry, and parking up behind the house. Housekeeper and gardener visit on schedules.

Area Description

The house is literally 3-5 minutes EASY walking to Oregon Shakespeare or Cabaret Theaters, or any of the downtown bookstores, coffee spots, pharmacy, bakery, galleries, restaurants, etc. If you enjoy walking, you'll be able to walk almost everywhere; For more active tastes, biking, hiking, river rafting, fishing, winetours, and swimming or strolling in historic Lithia Park are close by. Ashland is a little treasure!
