This beautiful 6 bedroom, 5 bath house is less than a short 5 minute drive to downtown Aspen (or a comfortable 15 minute walk), or choose to take the free shuttle bus into town from right down the street! Amazing views of the Roaring Fork River and from Independence Pass to Aspen Mountain, large decks with a private hot tub, 2 fireplaces, a game room and dinner seating for 12 people make this house a comfortable place to spend your time. Brand new furnishings have been added to complement the recent remodel. From this amazing house you can enjoy world class skiing on one of four mountains, gold medal trout fishing, biking, hiking, rafting or take advantage of the galleries, shopping and delicious restaurants in downtown Aspen. This is a great home for entertaining or to spend some quality family time together. Very comfortable and cosy, yet kid and dog friendly. No matter the makeup of your group, the entire party will feel right at home!

Winters, you are a short distance from world famous Aspen Mountain Ski Mountain, home of the World Cup race. Close proximity to three other mountains including Buttermilk Mountain, the site of the Winter X games. Snowmobileing, cross-country skiing, ice skating are all available. Unfortunately, at the present time we are fully booked from December 15, 2009 through April 15, 2010 - for most of the ski season.
Summers come alive with the sound of music and culture !abounds!! The world renowned Aspen Music Festival runs from June to late August as do many dance and theater groups that spend the summers here. The Aspen Institute has numerous speakers. The Food and Wine Festival starts the summer off in June. The Jazz Aspen multiple day concerts are yearly events scheduled for mid June and over the Labor Day holiday in August/September recently featuring an ecclectic blend including the likes of John Fogerty, Don Henley of the Eagles, Boz Scaggs, Herby Hancock, Dianna Reeves, Widespread Panic, Trey Annistasio, etc, etc, etc. Many additional cultural, theatrical, musical and literary events too numerous to mention here are constantly being scheduled and advertised at affordble prices and readily available to the general public, usually with advance ticket purchases but oftentimes available at the last minute.
