Description of the Aspen vacation home rental

Charming, beautiful two-story Aspen home in the West End. Newly renovated. Beautiful, warm, light and bright. Every bedroom and living room has flat-screen LCD Tv's. Basement has 50" LCD with surround sound. Twenty-foot vaulted ceilings in living room with view of Shadow Mountain. Same view from Master BR and Master bath. Two story stone fireplace in living room. Three full bedrooms with Baths. Three baths are done in Carerra marble. One bath is done in travertine. Master bath has separate steam shower. All exquisitely done and new. Basement is a complete surround sound media room that can double as a bedroom with it's own bath and closet. It has a pull out sofa bed (full) and also a full futon. Big front yard and fenced back yard. Large parking driveway in front. Can park three cars and six tandem. Two blocks from the music tent and 2 blocks from the bus stop. Open kitchen, living room and dining room. All new Viking applicances. Twelve foot granite island that looks into living room. Old barn beams in kitchen and living area. Wainscoating on walls. Antique pine floors. All new bathrooms. New kitchen, laundry and water filtration system. Incredible home. There is an additional side apartment avail connected to the house. It consists of bedroom and loft and kitchen with oven,dishwasher, washer and dryer.

Area Information

The West End of Aspen is one of the most prestigious areas in the city. The home is located on a bucolic, tree-lined street. The location is 2 blocks from the music tent. Also very close to the Aspen Institute. The bus stop is 2 blocks away. A great walking neighborhood. The neighborhood is filled with old victorian homes as well as exquisite contemporary homes. Great location and a beautiful setting.

great location, clean & neat

We really enjoyed our stay in Aspen. The Condo at Timber ridge was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The owner of the condo was great to do business with. We would certainly rent this condo again if available for our next visit to Aspen. The short walk to the downtown area, the ski slopes and the ski buses make it perfect for a winter vacation.

I was lucky enough to stay in this lovely home right before spring break and during a really nice snowfall. It's conveniently located in town and an easy drive to the airport and Snowmass. Aspen is a quaint, artsy town that extends the Christmas feeling well into the new year. The home is beautiful and cozy and the rooms large and comfortable. The owner must have put special blankets on the beds because they seemed to have retained heat during the evening. The bus stop and some restaurants are within walking distance of the home. A wonderful time in a wonderful home! Anyone visiting Aspen should seek this property out but not when I'm up there.

I walked in and could not believe how beautiful the place was. It is so elegant yet so homey. I walked to town every day and loved it. It has a very peaceful feeling and you just want to snuggle up and sit by the fire and watch it snow. I can't wait for the summer. It is by far, one of the most beautiful places that I have stayed in Aspen. The owner obviously renovated it for herself and not renters. I have not stayed at this home, but I saw it before it was renovated and I can't believe it is the same place. The owner is a friend of mine and just completed the home.
