Pets welcome with references. Smoking, even though you shouldn't be, is only allowed outdoors away from any open doors or windows to be respectful of the good health decisions of others.

Winters, you are within walking distance of world famous Aspen Mountain Ski Area, home of the World Cup race. Close proximity to three other ski area mountains including Buttermilk Ski Area, the site of the Winter X games, Aspen Highlands with the spectacular hike to extreme skiing in Highland's Bowl, and the world famous Snowmass Ski Area! Snowmobiles, cross-country skiing, ice skating are all available. Unfortunately, at the present time we are fully booked from December 15, 2009 through April 15, 2010 - for most of the ski season, however, 2010 summer rentals are mostly wide open, except for July being fully booked. Summers are alive with music and culture. The world renowned Aspen Music Festival runs from June to late August as do many dance and theater groups that spend the summers here. The Aspen Institute has numerous speakers. The Food and Wine Festival starts the summer off in June. The Jazz Aspen multiple day concerts are yearly events scheduled for mid June and over the Labor Day holiday in August/September recently featuring an ecclectic blend including the likes of John Fogerty, Don Henley of the Eagles, Boz Scaggs, Herby Hancock, Dianna Reeves, Widespread Panic, Trey Annistasio, etc, etc, etc. Many additional cultural, theatrical, musical and literary events too numerous to mention here are constantly being scheduled and advertised at affordble prices and readily available to the general public, usually with advance ticket purchases but oftentimes available at the last minute.
