Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Athens, Central Greece, Greece
nice apt in tourist Athens, July 23, 2008
By Randall Taneda (Vancouver, BC Canada)
We stayed in a very nice two bedroom apartment owned by a very helpful hospitable owner. The apartment was roomy and very neat. The location was perfect for what we wanted: a central location where we could walk to restaurants and historical sites, including the Acropolis. There was a terrific bakery across the street and the restaurants in the Gazi district were a five minute walk away, as was the Metro station. The area felt very safe. The air conditioner worked well, although there was no airconditioning in the two bedrooms but that was not a problem for us. The apartment has a washing machine and a large balcony where the laundry could be hung out to dry. Our host, provided us with maps and advice and could speak English very well which was most helpful since our Greek is limited to please, thank you, hello and goodbye. We recommend this apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed Athens. We were there for only 4 days but we should have stayed longer as there was a lot to see.
