Luxury apartment in Athens (#443)

Very, very pleased -- and a wonderful VALUE! The attractive, modern flat is located in a middle class residential neighborhood. But the important point, regarding loaction, is that it is less than a few (2, 3, 5 -- depending upon your gate) minute walk to the metro --- a metro stop (Aitiki) which serves two (Red and Green) metro lines and has elevators and escalators. The apartment is large and VERY VERY well furnished including a complete stove with oven, large frig, radio (there is an english language station in Athens), TV (with CNN and some other english), CD player, VCR player, a clothes washing machine (slow but efficient), a telephone -- and even a computer (I could check e-mails easily). There is one large balcony (facing west for Great sunsets) and one small one (from which you can see the Acropolosis lit beautifully at night). The elevator for the 16 unit apartment building worked perfectly and the security system is exceptional. One bedroom has a comfortable double bed, large closet with drawers, the computer, telephone and access to the small rear balcony. The second bedroom is a little more spartan but has two good single beds, a small TV and access to the small balcony. The large living room, dining room, kitchen combination opens with sliding doors to the large balcony. The entire apartment is attractively, finished (great tile work) and beautifully decorated. I give it a very high recommendation.
