Our ACROPOLIS FRESH apartment is located in the Acropolis area of central Athens, literally 2 blocks away from the exquisite monument which stands proudly on its hill for so many years!! The Erechtheum, the Parthenon, the temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea along with the New Museum of the Acropolis are seen by hundreds of visitors every day. The ancient Agora, the theatre of Dionysus, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and Philopappou Hill are a few more sites preferred by our guests. All these sites are a short stroll away from the apartment.
Near the area of the Acropolis one could stroll down Ermou street and reach Plaka, the ancient neighborhood of Athens, and then move on to Monastiraki with its famous flea market and Thission.
Ermou is near Syntagma square, a large pedestrian street ideal for shopping since it is full of all kinds of shops for clothes, cosmetics and perfumes, shoes and sunglasses. Plaka is full of cafes and traditional taverns with Greek food and an ambience which takes you back to the past. If you walk up to Monastiraki you will see stores selling everything from old jewellery, antique furniture, stamps, clothes and shoes and many cafes swamped with people especially during the weekends. And finally Thission that can be reached through Monastiraki or the train is a beautiful location with many cafes and many people enjoying their coffee and drinks all day long. All these neighborhoods are connected to each other so if you like walking you will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful routes of Athens!
The ACROPOLIS FRESH apartment building is on PARTHENONOS STREET right next to the DIVANI ACROPOLIS HOTEL. There is a supermarket on the same street 50 meters away from the building where you can buy everything you will possibly need during your stay.
