Description of the Atlanta vacation cabin rental

We call it The Loveshack because we feel it's a great place to be with the ones you love. You may catch some fish, see a beautiful sunrise, listen to the loons, relax in our hammock or swing.. Whatever you do, we promise you will enjoy it here...

Property Details
The Loveshack is our personal 2 bedroom, 3 story cabin/house located on approximately 1 1/2 acres with 150 ft of natural shoreline frontage on beautiful, peaceful Crooked Lake - just 2 miles south of the town of Atlanta, Michigan. There are views of the lake from almost every window and two wonderful decks overlooking the lake...

The master bedroom, which is located on the lower level facing the lake, has a queen size bed. It is very private with a door that separates it from the main part of the lower level and also has an entry door that leads out to the lower deck for private access. There is also a full size futon and twin size bed in a separate room on the lower level for sleeping.

The upstairs loft bedroom has a full size bed.

Our kitchen is equipped with all the amenities (appliances, microwave, dishes, silverware etc.) We also have a BBQ grill for your use.

We have Direct TV, stereo with CD player, a DVD player and a VCR with some movies available for your use.

We provide linens for the beds, but ask that you bring your own towels, washcloths and personal toiletries.

We have a private dock and a rowboat is included in the rental.

We truly love our Loveshack and enjoy sharing it..
We do ask that you please be very respectful of our personal belongings during your stay at the shack. We have many treasured things there that mean alot to us...

We believe once you stay at our Loveshack, you will want to return again and again to experience this magical place...

Atlanta is a small, quiet town just perfect for getting away from it all. There is a nice grocery store in town, along with several bars, restaurants, library and Family Dollar. We are located 34 miles east of Gaylord and 36 miles west of Alpena. We are approximately 60 miles southeast of Petoskey, and 90 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge.

Enjoy the peacefulness of being at the lake at our Loveshack, or going 2 miles uptown for a small town atmosphere. If you prefer more action, head to many surrounding places such as Gaylord, Alpena, Mackinac or Traverse City, where there are many things to do.. shopping, indoor water parks, go-karts, mini golf, antique shopping, skiing, etc. Then come home to the peace and quiet of the Loveshack. Absolutely the best of both worlds!

• Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
   
• Check In: 3 p.m.
   
• Check Out: 11 a.m.
   
• Required Stay: 2 nights
   
• Deposits: Mimimum two night stay. Weekly rates are from Saturday to Saturday. Reservation/Security deposit of $250 required upon booking reservation and will be refunded in full within 7 days upon departure if no damages are found once cabin is checked and cleaned. Cancellation of reservation is permitted as long as cancellation is made at least 30 days in advance. Final payment must be made in time for personal check to clear, or be made in cash, money order or cashier's check.

Love Shack Rick - Brighton This is a beautifully picturesque and peaceful setting. The house sits high above Crooked Lake with panoramic views from virtually every window and or deck. There are many seating areas from which to enjoy the views and the person you are with, from a wooden swing in the yard, to seating on all of the decks, or around the campfire. This is a great place to spend a week reconnecting with that special person in your life. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed for a most enjoyable retreat.  more...
