Description of the Atlantic Beach vacation condo rental

Come and enjoy this beachy Condo-By-The-Ocean, where beach lovers can take long, leisurely walks on miles of white-sand beaches. Just steps from the ocean, with no streets to cross, Seaplace is resort-style living: Sailing, swimming, beachcombing, sunning and casting in the surf for flounder, snapper and mullet. Seaplace has it all. And Seaplace is located at Atlantic Beach, the oldest and most private of a string of beach communities that are along the Atlantic Shore near Jacksonville, Florida. Atlantic Beach has traditionally been a comfortable community of summer homes, gentle tides, and radiant sunrises. Among your neighbors are sandpipers, seagulls, pelicans and an occasional porpoise. And everywhere, the soothing sound of the waves regulates an easy pace for living. It's quite possible that Seaplace is everything you've always wanted, and then some.

Area Information

Atlantic Beach is the perfect location for day-trips: Just a 2-min. walk brings you to a Community Theatre with year-round productions. Alongside this is a public tennis court and children's playground. The downtown area of this quaint city provides a safe haven and is less than a 10-min. walk from the Condo. It contains cobblestone streets and hosts a treasure-trove of small shops and attractions.
Also, some of the finest seafood restaurants in Northeast Florida are close by.
Visit Mayport, one of the oldest fishing villages in the nation and take a ferry, a popular way to see Amelia Island. Or discover historic St. Augustine 1/2 hr. to the south. Other day-trips: Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens; Jacksonville Day Cruise aboard a 250-ft. cruise ship for casino gambling and dancing; Greyhound Racing; and seeing the St. Johns River aboard a paddle boat for sightseeing and lunch.

Just a 2 minute walk brings you to a public tennis court and park with playground. The downtown area of this quaint city provides a safe haven and is less than a 10 minute walk from Seaplace. It contains cobblestone streets and hosts a treasure-trove of small shops and attractions.
Internet access can be added to your rental for a slight additional cost.
Also, some of the finest seafood restaurants in Northeast Florida are close by.
(2) Laundrettes are located on the grounds of Seaplace. One laundrette is 2 doors away. Wash -$1.50 Dry- 75 cents.
Although not Oceanfront, our Condo is less than 1000 feet from the Ocean. To get to the Ocean, you merely walk to the edge of the Seaplace complex and take a right-hand turn 300 feet to the dunes, sand and Ocean, with no barriers or streets to cross... a mere 2 minute walk, and all the while the balmy sea breezes never stop!!

Sand, Sun and Fun!

Our stay here was exactly as descibed if not better! The kids loved being so close to the pool, I enjoyed the convenience of the first floor patio for storing pool toys and drying the kids off before entering. The condo was spacious enough to invite my sister's family over for dinner. Less than five minute walk to the beach and we never felt crowded at the beach; not with all the other tourists. The condo's location was a five minute drive from shopping and grocery stores and a mile from the cute 'downtown' of Atlantic Beach. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The Condo was clean and centrally located. A short walk to the beach. It was just a nice place to stay.
