My husband and I vacationed at Sunrise in Paradise Island for a week. We loved everything!! Steve was seriously the BEST and it was so comforting to know and that we could rely (and did!) rely upon his expertise, kindness and generosity. He's a class act! And truly a big reason why our vacation was so great. The condo itself was perfect - clean, as described, and a great location! We loved the Keurig machine, the convenience of the restaurant and of course, it's proximity to Atlantis. The beach is so relaxing and blue! I could go on and on and on.. vacation here. It won't disappoint!!

A Wonderful Honeymoon

We had the most enjoyable stay at this property. The accomodations were clean, quiet, in the most beautiful complex. Their are 2 gorgeous pools, right on the beach, close enough to walk to the Atlantis, but away from all the people. We could not have found a more perfect place for our week in Paradise. Steve, the owner is the most gracious host. He was there for any questions we had, made some wonderful dinner ideas, and someone who we now call our friend. We are already planning our stay next year. You will not be dissappointed in this complex or condo. Thanks again Steve. You ROCK>>>

Exceeded my expectations in every way

I would echo many of the sentiments by other guests. The listing and its photos were accurate. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Keurig coffemaker, a tea kettle, ice in the freezer, and plastic pitchers to mix our own beverages. We had plenty of towels, extra bedding for the sofa, and our bed was quite comfortable. Steve the owner was quick to respond to questions, super hospitable in recommending transportation, restaurants, etc., and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok with our stay, both at the beginning and the end. The staff at Sunrise was also very helpful. The pool was too cold to swim, but lovely. Cabbage beach directly adjacent to Sunrise was shaded in the winter sun, so you have to walk a few more steps to get to the sunny spot. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and I'm thinking seriously of coming back again next Christmas.

Great 3 week stay

Steve, the owner, is a gracious and most helpful host. The info provided is totally accurate and descriptive. Closeness to Atlantis is a big advantage. You have access to all the Marina Village restaurants and shops. Only short walk to Atlantis Beach Tower, with a sundries shop and access to Atlantis shuttles to all restaurants and casino. After dinner walk to Ben and Jerry's a great opportunity here. Paradise Village shopping center, a 5 minute walk, has convenience grocery, drug store, and liquor shop. Staying 3 weeks, we cooked about half our dinners, so needed to access a full scale grocery. Cabbies will take you, wait and return you for $30. No need for a car here. The Montague Grill on the big island will send a car for you. Other great restaurants are a short cab ride over the bridge. Viola Grill on site is good also. Breakfasts especially good, but lumberjack portions. . Steve also has a great gal with a town car to pick you up at the airport if you wish. She is very reliable. Highly recommend this location and this owner. Would be happy to talk with anyone about our stay. Steve can give you a number or email contact.

Our lil slice of heaven

This is our second time visiting Sunrise Beach Resort it is an amazing place to stay and keeps getting better and better. It's a beautiful peacefull resort, it's our family's favorite place, we call it our little slice of heaven, my daughter says "it reminds her of what Italy would look like." The staff and crew were the best they are very friendly and helpful. This was our first time staying in this unit and we were very impressed most with the owner, cleanliness and how it had everything you needed, it felt like home away from home. There was no little extras needed because this unit had everything. The kitchen and living area was the perfect size for the four of us, the downstairs bathroom was really nice too and convenient for the teenage girls. The upstairs master bedroom was perfect for my husband and I, it was private and away from the kids. The pictures listed are right on the money what you see in the pictures is what you get. The two pools were refreshing, clean and big enough if there was a crowd and cool enough, especially when you needed to take a break from the beautiful carribean ocean or just wanting to take a moonlight swim. The walk to Atlantis was very short, you can either walk by sidewalk or down the beach. Violas was a very good place to eat, especially after a long day at the beech, we loved their grilled cheese and fries(cheeseburgers, fish n chips are great too). Anthony's restaraunt is a short walk too and it's highly recommended. There are souvenir, convenient and pharmacy stores next to Anthony's everything you need is only a 5 minute walk. But, last and foremost the owner Steve, he is amazing, he was very helpful and one of the nicest gentelmen you'll ever meet. He made our stay that much better. We had the great pleasure to personaly meet him as he stayed several days in his other unit next to us. We have been vacationing for years and he by far has been the most accommodating, friendliest and personable landlords you'll ever work with or meet. He definitely sets the bar high for any other landlord. It feels like you've know him for years. I highly recommend Sunrise Beach Resort not only for the beauty and the peacefulness, but for the great pleasure to work with the owner Steve. Our family will be visiting his unit annually. As a matter of fact we will be booking again for next years visit soon. Thank you for all your kindness Steve and the employees at Sunrise Beach Resort.

This was our first time staying at Sunrise Beach Resort but we certainly don't intend it to be our last! The condo has everything you need for a nice family vacation. First and foremost, it is very clean. It is also very comfortable and feels like home. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious with a nice king-sized bed and private bathroom. Also, there are 2 bureaus and a large double closet so there is plenty of space for your clothing. The main floor has a good sized living room with a kitchen at one end which has everything you could ask for. There is a coffee maker plus a Keurig and even a blender to make specialty drinks or milk shakes, etc. There are no little extras that you'll need to bring as the unit has everything from towels to an iron and ironing board. Another nice feature is that there is an additional bathroom on the first floor off the kitchen. The pools are just seconds away and are clean and refreshing. If you prefer the beach, it takes under a minute to get there. The location is really ideal. You're only about 5 minutes from a shopping plaza which has several little shops and Anthony's restaurant. You can also walk over to the Atlantis by either the sidewalk or the beach and that's only about 5 minutes away. If you don't feel like going anywhere, you can dine at Viola's which is a casual open-air restaurant located right at the resort.
Finally, I have to mention Steve who is the owner of the condo. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and not in need of a thing. My husband and I have been vacationing for years and have rented from many people, but we've never had anyone be as accommodating or friendly as Steve. He is a true gentleman and acts like he's been your friend for years. Great place, great landlord. You can't get much better than that!
All in all, we had a great time and hope to go again next spring.

Fabulous stay at the Sunrise!

This was our second time to Paradise Island, the first was a business incentive trip at Atlantis. There are pros and cons at each property. Having traveled extensively, one of our pet peeves is having to walk through endless hallways, wait for elevators, jostle hundreds of people in lobby's and fight for chairs in the pool areas. Larger resorts may offer more luxury than Sunrise. But this unit is perfect if you want a quiet place to relax and enjoy the Bahamas. It offers a full kitchen which saved us a tremendous amount of cash. You have a much larger space than a typical hotel room, with a king size bed upstairs, your own tv, with a queen sleeper and another tv for the kids downstairs. We ate all our breakfasts and lunches there and purchased freshly caught red snapper from a fisherman at Potters Cay for one if our dinners. There is a Keurig coffee machine also.
You are steps from the beach. No fighting crowds or looking for a lounge chair at the pool. Relax in one of the loungers under the pines overlooking the ocean at night. We loved the Tuesday night band at Violas and danced the night away. Walked to Atlantis to see the Dig after 6:00 and go to the casino.
The beach and water are fabulous. Jet skis, banana boats, parasailing, massage right there. The two pools are uncrowded and refreshing. The grounds are beautiful. Violas is reasonable and a fun place to get acquainted with others staying there.
The condo itself has everything you need but needs a bit of remodeling, but it is clean and we will definitely return. Loved every minute! The owner is great to work with and will bend over backwards to be sure you are happy.
We met a family who stayed at a mega resort for two days, came to Sunrise, and liked it much better. We definitely did!

A Wonderful Place To Stay

This unit offers exactly what it says. It is a clean and very comfortable place to stay with everything you need for a relaxing vacation or a home away from home. The Resort really is perfectly located on a beautiful beach, right between the busy Atlanitis beach area and the quiet Ocean Club. We spent the days on the beach and enjoyed walking to Atlantis or taking a taxi into Nassau for dinner each night, and it was truly a perfect vacation. We stayed over spring break and found the Villas to be a quiet as ever. The owner of this unit was great and I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity. It is a pefect blend of value and charm and from there how you spend your time is really up to you.
