 Fantastic time, November 5, 2009
By Jennifer (Corpus Christi, TX)
My sisters and I ventured over to Austin to celebrate the ending days of my youger sister's single life. We needed a place to accomodate more than what a hotel could fit. We luckily found Eastside Inn. It was so perfect. Great location and Kathy was so kind and accomodating. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great stay in Austin., November 2, 2009
By Michael (Cedar Rapids)
I was in Austin for a Medical conference and decided to fore go the usual hotel for a house. It was one of the best decisions I could of made. The place was nice, clean and close to downtown. Kathy, the owner, was a wealth of information and easy to work with. I highly recommend this location.

 Wonderful trip!, October 6, 2009
By Sharon Stetz (Durango, Colorado USA)
My husband and I were in Austin on business and stayed at this wonderful rental for 3 weeks in September. Really lovely and very convenient to the Lake~ we kayaked, the trail~ we're runners and to all the excellent food and music Austin has to offer. Kathy and George took such good care of us~ from where to shop for groceries, to good local eateries, and where the best farmers markets are. We highly recommend both the home and the owners.

I stayed in the Eastside Inn for a month and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and just lovely! Unlike most short term stays, the kitchen here rocks! Also, Kathy, the owner, could not be more helpful and attentive and is great local resource for all the fun that is Austin.

 Great Place!, April 1, 2009
By Tracy (Houston TX)
I stayed here for 2 nights with a party of 6, we had a great time. Its a great open layout, super clean and updated quite nicely for an older home. I would highly reccommend this property There are also a few cute little shops and a hair salon right next door!

By Dianne (New Orleans, LA)
While we stayed for only a long weekend, this was one of the best rental experiences I've ever had. House is clean, spacious and well decorated (claw foot tub, hello!) and the owners make sure to have certain necessities on hand (iron, hair dryer, towels). The location is great, too, just minutes from downtown. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place! Great Location!, March 5, 2009
By Casey Leblanc (Lake Charles,Louisiana)
It was a very clean place in a great location. Only a 5 dollar cab to 6th street. Awesome experience.

By Kristin Walter (San Francisco, CA)
I came to Austin with 5 students for the Clinton Global Intitiative University. A hotel was out of our budget and we are so grateful we found the Eastside Inn. It was cozier, more elegant, more refreshing than a hotel and far more affordable! And Kathy could not have been sweeter, true Texan hospitality. There are two beds and a futon and while we didn't need a blow up matress, it made the sleeping arrangements more comfortable. She brought one over the moment we asked. It was within walking distance of the Convention Center and sixth street, altough I wouldn't walk it late at night. If you are heading to Austin, skip the hotel and stay at the Eastside Inn. Oh, and if you cook....the kitchen is dynamite. Thanks Kathy!

 Wonderful Experience, January 21, 2009
By Katy Ryan (Salt Lake City)
I spent six weeks at this rental property in mid-winter with my five-year-old son, partner, and small dog. We had a wonderful time. The house is comfortable and clean, with great character and light. The kitchen is fantastic, lots of modern amenities. I loved the neighborhood, especially Natural Foods just a few blocks down (vegetarian cafe). I cannot stress enough how great the owners are: thoughtful, friendly, helpful, honest, and excited to show off a city they love to new people. (I did not know them before our stay.) They made our Austin visit an especially great experience. We hope to return as soon as possible. And the agave plant in the front yard is terrific.

Comfortable house, Great location, November 8, 2008
By Lindsay Armstrong (St. Louis, MO USA)
The house is very quaint and comfortable. Decor is modern and ascetically pleasing. It is also a good location. Just a 15 minute walk to 6th street and other major Austin Attractions. Owners were very willing to work with us and responded immediately whenever we needed anything. Thanks!
