"I loved the house on Live Oak. It was lovely, clean and comfortable, had everything I could need (even as a frequent cook), and was in the perfect location for exploring Austin. It could not have been better."
--Molly Lombardi, Brooklyn, NY
“Thanks so much for the loan of your house for the week. It was truly a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped, and we had a slight chuckle at the Texan size of the fridge - they don't make 'em like that in the UK! The house was really clean as was the bed linen and towels and really fully equipped - even a toaster. Great help having the broadband Internet access, too. Can't wait to come back and hoping to rent the house again soon.”
--David Cooper, Manchester UK
“We spent two weeks in this beautiful house. It is a lovely place, fully equipped and delightfully decorated, in a very nice neighborhood, and really close to most points of interest in the city.”
--Miguel Vukelic, Houston, TX
"Wow, we were lucky to find this place! We felt right at home in this charming, colorful house. The location was perfect; central to all of downtown Austin and right on the bus routes. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Austin. Thanks, Michelle!"
--MJ Miljavac, Makwao, HI
“The house and neighborhood were very nice. Mom -- and mom is very persnickety -- liked it just fine. The location was unbeatable -- we always end up at Guero’s. Thanks very much.”
--Terry Brooks, Sugar Land, TX
“Thank you for helping make our month in Austin a fabulous one. We really enjoyed the house and the location was perfect!”
--Suzanne Thompson, San Francisco, CA
“We loved the house, the location, and Austin. The house was comfortable, clean and friendly, very convenient to Austin's excellent transportation system; only minutes from downtown, and a short walk to the only three restaurants you could need, Nueva Onda for breakfast, Guero's for dinner and Magnolia Cafe for anytime. My wife wants to buy the house and move to Austin.”
-- Ken & Julie Lampe, Annandale, VA
“We had a *wonderful* time during our 2 months in Austin, and our little West Live Oak house was a big part of it. The house is snug and cute and has all the necessary amenities (the barbeque grill and the wireless connection were our favorites). Plus, it's in the very best possible location. We could walk 1/2 block to the bus stop or the Dillo and be downtown in just a few minutes. Or we could just walk around the neighborhood---interesting houses and friendly people. And then, of course, there's the Magnolia Cafe and lots of shops---all in easy walking distance. And oh yeah, the park just a few blocks east on Live Oak where you can go for a run along the creek. If we hadn't had to get back to Real Life up north, we would have stayed a LOT longer!”
--Shirley and Bob, Philadelphia, PA
