Beautiful Montina Beach on Lake Travis
From $259 / night
|Per night:||$259 - $550|
|Per week:||$1,513 - $2,850|
Pets allowed: Yes
The beach area is large and covered mostly with grass. There is a large rock bon fire pit for those special evenings with friends. Yes, wood is supplied complimentary. There is also a grass volleyball court for your energetic gatherings with friends. Due to an extended drought, Lake Travis is about 30 ft. lower than average so there is a sandy/rocky shoreline visible that is not shown in the pictures. However, the lake still has a lot of water!
The property is located on the highly desirable south shore of Lake Travis, close to Austin's vibrant lifestyle and near all the amenities you desire from the finest in shopping at the new Hill Country Galleria and Lakeline Mall to great restaurants including Hudson's on the Bend, Rocco's, The Grove, Steiner Ranch Steak House, The Oasis, Mesa Rosa and Hill Country Pasta House. There are six exceptional golf courses within ten minutes drive. The house is located on approximately six acres with another house that the owners live in.
Austin's legendary night life must certainly be experienced if you have never been to downtown Austin at night. The house is a great place to stay with friends when in town to watch the exceptional athletic programs of the University of Texas Longhorns. It is about a 25 minute drive to downtown or the UT campus.
Boat and jet ski rentals are available nearby; or launch your own at a nearby marina and park it at the dock on premises. Spend a day wakeboarding, water skiing or parasailing. Yes, they will pick you up right on your boat dock to go parasailing! If you are young enough in spirit, you may also want to venture into Devil's Cove for one of America's biggest parties every summer weekend - it is a five minute boat ride away.
The house has a wonderful open design. The kitchen, living room, breakfast area and dining room are all combined in a very large area without walls that makes for a great social gathering point. There are three outdoor living areas and two grills for your enjoyment. One bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also a private bath. The third bedroom is smaller and houses a double bed and a pull-out twin bed that recesses under the full size bed. The smaller third bedroom has access to a third, common area bathroom. A comfortable futon and a twin size sleeper sofa are both located in the great room. There are also two blow-up air beds available.
Please note that photos were taken with the lake level at a more normal level and the lake levels can fluctuate from drought to floods. Please ask the owner if you want to know the relative lake level.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Austin, Texas
Just got back from a weekend at Montina Beach House. It was lovely! I was there with friends for a family wedding. It was a great location and the house was perfect. Very spacious and clean. The accomodations were perfect for us. We barbequed and enjoyed the Lake with a boat. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We would love to come again sometime in the future.

Beautiful Accommodations...GREAT Experience!
We'd like to thank the owner, and let everyone know what a wonderful experience we had. The property is stunning, and although the lake levels are down, boating was still an option! The owner was very accommodating to all requests. The house was stocked with just about everything you could need. Bring your bug spray, sun screen, and groceries...You'll have a blast! We plan to utilize these facilities again next year!

A fantastic and relaxing weekend
A great property and friendly host family! When my group arrived, we had a little trouble finding the house. Not for a lack of clarity in the directions, but because the landscaping and house was far nicer that we expected!
We spent time on the lake, grilled-out in the evening, and played poker and watched TV in the spacious living room. Everyone had a great time and would come back for another gathering.

Waterfront Vacation Home
We stayed here for a weekend getaway with our friends and had a great time. The house easily slept the eight people that came on the trip. The house is very nice and taken care of well. It is out of town and in a quiet neighborhood but still close to Austin or Lakeway.We went to Carlos and Charlies Friday night cause is it so close to the house and we wanted to relax. Austin has an endless amount of activities to fill the day and night from sightseeing, outdoor activities, to wineries, and concerts. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting a vacation or lake getaway.

Great Lake House
The house was great! It is actually a lot larger than what it looks like, on the pictures. I went with a group of girls for a girlfriend getaway, we all really enjoyed it. It is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, plus it had some extra perks such as complimentary shampoo and disposable utensils. Not to mention, the BBQ pits that they have in the back patio. The property is at a perfect location, it's only four minutes from the marina where you have access to rent a boat, which we did... We didn't have to drive far for dinner either, Carlos & Charlie's is also next to the marina.
The owners are also very pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Had a wonderful time!
We just experienced a wonderful time at the beautiful Montina Beach house. The landscaping was explicit and the accomodations were exactly what we were hoping they would be. It is a lovely home with a very friendly floor plan - just perfect for family gatherings whether you are eating, watching movies or playing games. Lake Travis' water level was very low but there was still plenty of water for skiing and swimming. The owners were so gracious and accomodating to us. Thank you so much - we are hoping to come again next year.

Very enjoyable retreat.
The property is in excellent shape, w/ a very well maintained landscape. The house has 3 dedicated bedrooms w/ attached bathrooms, a modern updated kitchen, and a large family-living room. Outside offers a scenic lake view patio for grilling or lounging. The main body of Lake Travis is just a short walk down from the house, w/ a moderate sized swim/boat dock dedicated to the renters. The landlord does live on property, but they are super nice and not in the least bit intrusive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to rent in the Lake Travis area.
