Description of the Azle vacation home rental
This property is ideal for families, or business people traveling to the Dallas Fort Worth area. Why pay for a hotel room when you could have a whole house with a pool, beautifully appointed, sleeping up to 7 people? It is also ideal for up to 3 couples wishing to holiday in Texas.
This is an open concept home, built in 1975. It sits on 10 acres of land. The living room has patio doors and large windows looking over scenic rolling hills. A wood burning fireplace adds to the homey feeling of the sitting area of the living room during the winter months.
There is a large covered patio outside the living room. The living room / dining room is separated from the large, well appointed kitchen by a bar.
The kitchen area has a walkout to a deck and patio with a built in swimming pool.
There is a separate mother in law suite opening from the kitchen, with a three piece bathroom, bedroom with a queen pillow top bed, and a sitting room. The couch in the sitting room could sleep an extra person.
The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and is tastefully decorated with an African theme. It has patio doors opening to a small patio.
The master bedroom, with a three piece en suite bathroom features a king size bed, and also a walk out to a small patio. There is a crib in the bedroom for new parents.
There is covered parking for two cars, with plenty of space for trailers, etc..
The house is freshly painted and well appointed with good dishes, kitchen equipment, microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine, fridge with ice maker, and stove.
There is white ceramic tile throughout the house.
There is a door from the kitchen into the garage, where smoking is permitted, if the weather outside is inclement.
A courtesy local "pay- as- you go" local cell phone is provided if needed.
This property is managed and maintained by our two good neighbors across the lane.
They open up the house, provide guests with local information, and do household clean up after departure.
Please note that the rental price includes all amenities in the house. Extra couples staying is an extra $50 a night.
For those flying in, and staying at least a week, complementary groceries for the first breakfast will be provided. This includes juice, eggs, bacon, fresh bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea and jams. Two weeks is $1500 and three weeks is $2000.

Area Info
Experience a true Western atmosphere with the full meaning of "Southern charm", where all meet you with a smile and a "y'all" as part of the greeting.
This is a very private, and safe neighborhood.
The lane coming in from the main road has access to only 10 homes. One neighbour owns and trains horses. You might be sitting on the deck and have a cowboy on a horse amble by, saying "howdy"! You might wake to the sound of a donkey braying.
The address is Azle, Texas, not Fort Worth, but it is only a 20 minute drive to downtown Fort Worth.
Azle, Lake Worth and Weatherford are only about 15 minutes away, and have all the shopping amenities. Azle boasts a brand new world class library, with free internet access to all.
Fort Worth has world class museums, galleries, shopping, and a lively night life with jazz cafes, Western entertainment and also a remarkable concert hall.
Dallas is about an hour away.
The historic stock yards boast plenty of tourist attractions, including a daily long horn cattle drive, and also Billy Bob's, the world's largest honky - tonk western bar.
This is lake country, with access to water activities.

Looked really nice. Too bad

May 30, 2012

This looked so nice and we were very excited. But my friend sent off for info and was never contacted and so I tried as well. What a shame. I have never had this happen when renting before :(

Quiet and relaxing

October 29, 2010

Our family (2 adults and 2 children (5 and 2 years) and a baby of 1 month) had a very good time here. The owner bought a baby bed and a high chair for our convenience. We liked the pool, to have lots of space in the house, the functional kitchen and having a washing machine and dryer. We liked the quietness out there and it only takes 10 minutes to the town of Azle and 15 minutes to Fort Worth.

Heaven on earth

August 20, 2010

We stayed here for 11 days. We loved the house, the pool, the scenery, the early morning coffee on the deck in the middle of nature, swimming under the stars. The house had everything we needed, they even provided food for us for our first breakfast. I would highly recommend this house. It is out in the country enough to be quiet, yet close to major centres and shopping.

I love a quiet place on the hill out in the rugged countryside. This is it. I love quiet surroundings with little traffic....this is it since with little traffic at all. The decorating is superb and it just feels like home.

Do Not Stay Here!

June 3, 2010

My husband booked this place for a romantic get a way... We called the person who is to manage the property while this lady is out of the country "Kate, owner" and she said she'd return our call. We called again a few days later to see what the owner had said and the managers husband said to take it up with the owner they had nothing to do with the condition of the home. We called the owner twice and they did not return our calls. So this is what was wrong with the home with our stay, we did NOT even sleep here, we had to pay for ANOTHER hotel just to have clean sheets and feel safe... I will stand by my word on this rental, contact us! -roaches - not waterbugs, but house roaches -pool was filthy, which was reason we rented the place - tried cleaning as much as I could with net. pulled many bugs and 5 dead frogs out of pool. Said pool would be cleaned Friday morning, but this obviously was not true. -fridge was off - called Christy, and she said it may be unplugged, but it wasn't unplugged. Got a cooler and filled it with ice so we'd have cold drinks. - no hot water - took cold showers -We were going to wash sheets on bed before night time, but washer wasn't working. called Christy (manager) again, and they told us they hadn't gotten around to turning the breaker on for the water heater. We had been there all day. -sliding door didn't lock - security issue for neighborhood we weren't familiar with. We didn't stay night We tried to make the best of a bad situation an

My husband and I spend 5 days in this property last year. It is explained very well and is a beautiful home and very spacious. Neighbours are very friendly and the stock yards are great for shopping as is the Wal Mart not far away. It is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. IT is like home away from home. I would highly recommend it. Darlene Haliburton, Ontario Canada
