Description of the Bagni di Lucca vacation cottage rental

Cosy, typical stone cottage recently restored (May 2005). Completely furnished, 2/3 bedrooms, living room with fireplace, dining area, bath with shower.

The house has 2 floors and a lovely covered balcony where you can enjoy unforgettable meals with views of the surrounding mountains.

Riolo, a small picturesque old village where few people are living in old Tuscany style. The village is 5 minutes from Bagni di Lucca (a characteristic town where you can find thermal baths, typical restaurants, many shops, supermarkets, and a very nice outdoor swimming pool).

In Riolo you can relax or visit the beautiful, nearby cities of Tuscany: Lucca (25km), Pisa (45km) and Florence (further away at 100km).

The cottage in Riolo, bagni di Lucca provided a wonderful retreat from the everyday stresses. The magnificent views of the mountains, the warm sunshine, the sounds of silence in the early morning hours, and the refreshing mountain drinking water where delightful. Bagni di Lucca ws nearby and in it we were able to purchase all the food and items we needed for our stay. It also was a lovely town to meander in. The mountain road up to the cottage was a little tight, but using precautions while driving, it was no problem at all. The cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence were within distance for a day trip. I recommend it highly to anyone wishing to enjoy the best of the area near Lucca.
