Description of the Bakersville vacation home rental
This spacious and secluded mountain home retreat is just across the Tennessee / North Carolina border. Porches, balconies and decks abound provide spectacular views. Two creeks along each side of the 6.5 acre property serenade you as you enjoy the peace and tranquility the area has to offer.
A great getaway for the entire family. Located only one mile away, the Appalacian Trail is close enough to start your hiking adventure from the front door. Roan Mountain State Park is also easily accessible via Hughes Gap Road, about four miles.
Due to the proximitity of the Pisgah National Forrest and Roan Mountain State Park near by, there is an abundance of wildlife. You will frequently spot deer, wild turkey, rabbits, bears, etc... There has even been a cayote spotted roaming on the property. It is also a paradise for the bird watching enthusiast.
