Come to relax and frolic with nature. Ours is an historic, pet-friendly and green property! Recently Certified as a Wildlife Habitat! We meet all of the standards for a green property. Expect to see hawks and songbirds. Ask about the recent vintage of wine we are bottling.

Built as a guest house from materials taken from the 18th century sailing ship, the Somerset, this comfortable retreat property offers two levels, (floors are wood and carpeting) a completely renovated kitchen, bath, great room, breakfast room, cozy 1st floor bedroom and 2nd floor loft (lots of space for kids). Look out from your front window to view an English formal garden and watch the sun set over the valley. Numerous gardens surround the wooded 4 acre, very private property. Sit out on the back deck to see the woods and streams that run below. A cherry tree stands where a Civil War Battery stood and the trains running below the cliff, remind you of a long-lost era. Flowers, frogs and wildlife are everywhere!

Cool nights? Set a fire in the renewly restored summerhouse, or take a hike in the State Park, just a few steps from the door.
