Bandon Townhouse in a Country Setting

Newly Built in 2011 as a vacation home and fishing retreat with a large back yard area for get togethers, it is a perfect getaway for 1-3 couples, or a group of up to eight. Custom Built Townhouse is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath and is very cozy yet elegant two story home located near the ocean, (less than two minutes away) and yet close to the heart of old town Bandon (Also less than five minutes away). Since I loved fishing this area so much we built this Vacation home and would now like to share it with you!

Enjoy the pristine open kitchen and living area. Use the large red pot to cook your freshly caught crab in. All appliances are brand new. The living area is heated by a modern yet old fashioned looking gas stove. Large view windows with french doors opening up to the deck make the Living room a favorite retreat. Of course there are a nice large TVs for your enjoyment too.Both levels of the home open up to generous sized decks - and both levels provide a barbeque and seating area for your use. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable King bed, television and a cozy area for a couple to enjoy their morning coffee. In the large second bedroom (which can be rented as its own unit), find a queen bed with a custom electric fireplace, new kitchenette, and 42' HDTV, or enjoy the view and a barbeque from the lower deck. You might even see a few deer wander through to enjoy the grass. A bookcase upstairs is provided with plenty of reading material for those who like to curl up with a good book. Sink into the spa tub in the master bedroom for a nice retreat after a busy fun filled day.

Our elegant two story home is located near the ocean, (less than two minutes away) and yet close to the heart of old town Bandon (Also less than five minutes away). Situated only a few blocks from Bandon park with a playground for children, complete with merry-go round and slides,library and local theatre, you will really find this home to be centrally located. A great coffee stand is just a few blocks away in the Ray's Grocery parking lot, or the Bandon Bakery (to DIE for) is just a few minutes away in old downtown.

With the ocean and river nearby, watch the birds, otters, ospreys, and salmon or travel down the Oldtown Bandon and go crabbing off of the dock. Hunt for sea glass and shells on the beach, fly a kite, or just enjoy the fresh invigorating air on your face. The Bandon petting zoo is less than 10 miles down the road - a treat for children of all ages. Golf courses, shopping and great dining opportnities abound in the area.

THE FISH ARE HERE! Chinook salmon are in the Coquille, Elk and Sixes rivers nearby. Not to mention the Winter Steelhead opportunities. Fish from August to January for Salmon, and the steelhead fishing starts mid December and runs through March.

During the months of August through late September, fill your basket with fresh blackberries or spend time in oldtown Bandon at one of the many festivals. In October, fishing is in full swing.
