Description of the Bangor vacation cabin rental

Enjoy Maine life the way it should be enjoyed in a 4-season modern lakefront home nestled in Webb Cove on pristine Cold Stream Lake. Enjoy the solitude, yet only minutes to the towns of Howland and Lincoln. This newly built and furnished pine home enjoys 200+ feet of lake frontage and a private sandy swim area great for the kids. Oil heat, a glassed/screened porch, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and loft.

Area Information

Enjoy the use of 3 canoes & 4 Kayaks and large boat dock. Cold Stream is spring fed with unusually clear water. It has a maximum depth of over 100 feet, holding some of the areas best game fishing for trophy salmon, brook, and lake trout. Other recreation includes water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, bicycling, and ATV trails. Close to Arcadia National Park (Bar Harbor) and Baxter State Park. Fall Hunters are welcome. Excellent hunting for deer, ducks, bear, moose and turkey. In the winter, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, and hunting. Located in Lowell, Maine, only 45 minutes from Bangor International Airport and Bangor Mall.

amazing place

This was simply a wonderful vacation. The camp was completely stocked with everything needed and absolutely beautiful. I live in Maine and go to many lakes, I have not seen clearer water ever! It is amazing. I am hooked on Cold Stream Pond and will go to the public beach alot! Gary was easy to communicate with, called to see that we were all set, and very kind. We couldn't have had a nicer experience. Thank You!

We were greatly impressed with Gary's cottage on Cold Stream Pond. With 6 in our party - 3 adults and 3 children - there was something for everyone to enjoy, from fishing off the dock, to swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. The cottage itself is wonderful - all of the amenities you will need, without compromising the cottage "feel." Within easy distance for day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, or Baxter State Park, this is the perfect location. Thanks Gary!

Went on a getwaway weekend with 8 friends. The cottage is 45 min from Bangor. Awesome location on Cold Stream Pond. Plenty of space for all of us. Gary is awesome to deal with and very accomodating. He has your wellbeing in mind and wants you to have a good and relaxing time. Would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent family rendezvous location. Beautiful log home right on Cold Stream Pond (3600 acre lake). Lots of quality time canoeing, fishing, kayaking, and grilling out. One day of rain spent reading in the screened in sun room. We will be back.

Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation

The cabin was rustic, but clean and with complete modern amenities. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the evening free from bugs. The basement game room stayed cool even in almost 90° weather. The swimming is great for older kids comfortable jumping in off the dock, with lots of individual rocks to swim out to. The owner was competent, attentive to detail, and a pleasure to do business with. The wooded property was beautiful, and having canoes and kayaks available was a delight. Great sunsets and mornings on the dock. A beautiful and relaxing vacation!
