Description of the Banner Elk vacation condo rental
Great Getaway, located on Sugar Mountain in the Skyleaf Condominium Complex, with Spectacular Views of Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain.
With an elevation of approximately 5000', this perfect getaway provides plenty of snow in the winter months, while providing the coolest weather in NC during the summer months. One can always count on it being 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Charlotte NC.
Gas logs will keep you toasty while you view out the large sliding glass door, or enjoy stepping out onto the deck. With one bedroom (with a queen bed), the condo also features two fold out Double Sized Sealy Futons which allow sleeping of up to 6 people total. Total square footage is approximately 975. Parking is on the same level, so there are no stairs to climb.

Many winter sports, such as skiing, boarding, and skating are within a 5 minute drive at Sugar Mountain Resort. Grandfather Mountain features hiking, mile high swinging bridge, and nature preserve. Beech Mountain features skiing, skating, shopping dining. Banner Elk provides the closest selection and variety of restaurants, and Boone (home of Appalachian University) are all within close proximity.
If you plan to visit during the Summer Months, you will enjoy New England like weather and scenery. Hiking, Trout Fishing, and great views will await.
