Description of the Banner Elk vacation condo rental

Snow Lake Condominiums are at the base of Sugar Mountain. It's a 3 minute walk to the ski slopes for winter sports and the golf course is just seconds away. The bottom front bedroom opens onto the first tee. The unit has three floors; the top and bottom floors have two bedrooms and two bathrooms each. The center floor is the community area, with a kitchen, dining room and living room which opens onto a deck overlooking the golf course and mountains. The kitchen was remodeled in 2009 and features granite countertops and all new appliances.

Area Information

Sugar Mountain is situated in Banner Elk, a charming mountain town community with sking,golfing,tennis and great restaurantes. Grandfather and Beech mountains are located nearby and feature many hiking trails, horseback riding and all outdoor activities. Blowing Rock is close by for unique shopping experiences. The Blue Ridge Parkway with its' famous viaduck bridge and fabulous views are minutes away.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. It was spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably and the location could not be more convenient. We were able to walk to the ski slopes, tubing hill and the children could walk right out the back door to play in the snow. The home was very well stocked with everything we could need and the owners were very pleasant and easy to work with. The next time we vacation in the area, they will definitely be our first choice.

This is a very niece condo with a lot of up dates. Location is excellent, good restrants are near by. The only thing missing was high speed internet. John in NC

Mr Clark's critique is fair and accurate. We only rent our unit selectively and have found that many of our renters bring their own portable wireless modems. We use this also though Verizon and have good connectivity. Gary Greenfield, owner.

We didn't realize how lucky we got when we found this listing! Excellent location, literally across the street from Sugar Mountain and right next to the tubing and ice skating. Wonderfully furnished with well stocked kitchen. Every spice you could imagine, foil, baggies, lots of cups, plates, pots and pans. The condos have a nice set-up with bedrooms on the first and third floors and a common area in the middle. We had two families and this allowed the perfect space. The beds were very comfy as well. Certainly highly recommend this condo! Owners were very helpful, offering recommendations of the area. We would love to visit again.

Walk to skiing, skating, and tubing. Drive is on slight incline to road, but we had no problem getting in or out even though it snowed 2 nights while we were there.

My And Myself Have Been Too Snowlake Condo Many Times And It Is A Wonderful Place.clean And Has Everything We Need.no Matter If You Are There In Summer,winter Or Fall It Is Great The View From All Three Floors Is Beautiful.you Can See The Mountains The Sking And Tubing While Inside.it Also Very Quiet Looking Forward Too Trying Out The Spring Time At Snowlake
