Description of the Banner Elk vacation home rental

Banner Elk area mountain home located high in the Appalachian Mountains at 3,800 foot elevation with beautiful long-range mountain view. Cool summer temperatures, gorgeous fall colors and winter sports including 4 ski areas within easy distance. Three bedroom, two bath home is located on a private drive in a quiet rural area. Home is completely furnished, sleeping six comfortably on 2 queen size beds and 2 bunk beds. Wi-fi internet access, Satellite TV, DVDs and games and puzzles are available to entertain adults and children. Massage recliner and Foosball table. 2-Person Sauna and campfire pit add to the fun. Deck with barbecue grill looks out on an ever-changing view of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. Come and relax in our comfortable, peaceful mountain home!

Area Information

We are located 8 miles north of Banner Elk near Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Valle Crucis and the original Mast General Store, Boone and Watauga Lake. We are a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and Roan Mountain. Lees-McRae College is a scenic 10 mile drive; Appalachian State 15 miles. Shopping is available at Shoppes on the Parkway near Blowing Rock, and numerous antique shops in Foscoe near Boone. Boating and fishing on Watauga lake, a clean, 30-mile-long lake created by hydroelectric dams.
